The bed is gorgeous and is so study. Love that there are 4 drawers and 4 cubby spots on the sides,has 2 cabnets that are like hidden compartments on the head board , makes for quick easy storage. The price was good for the quality of the bed frame. It is easy to assemble BUT it did take hours to put together bc there are a lot of pieces that go into this frame making it sturdy, so it's best to put it together on a weekend or when you have time to put into it. Performance is so good it is so sturdy and I have two teens you just jump and plop down on my bed and it has held up and doesn't make and noises when getting into and out of bed. The LEDs make for a good nightlight and just set a relaxing tone to the room when you just need to whine down for the day or just want to relax and read. Took us about 4 hours to get it together but that's a small thing to worry about for such a amazing bed. ... show more

Took awhile to get out together and some of the parts and holes didn’t match up perfectly. Decent quality but not necessarily for how much it is. Had to re drill a few of my own holes, especially for the drop down compartments because the hinges were not able to close. Had a few minor cosmetic issues like the wood top layer slightly peeling off on one board and another had a big bulge and crack on it but nothing major. Admittedly for a bed frame this large there are a lot of parts, but the instructions are very clear and the boxes were packaged very well with no damage or scratched during shipping. There was plenty of hardware to complete the job and it is very solid once it is all completed. It did take several hours to assemble with just one person, but it is not hard, just takes time and following instructions. I had been debating buying this bed and spending the money on it, but I'm glad I did! It takes two people and about 8 hours to build, but overall, this bed is incredibly sturdy and has lots of storage space in the drawers and behind the pillows. It doesn't squeak or have any issues during "fun" time either. If you are debating getting it and have the money to do so, please get it. You won't be disappointed in it. I hardly ever right reviews on products. B it I’m so over frustrated and so done with it. For starters it’s not even real wood. It’s like some mushed and compressed wood shavings wrapped in a wood like paper-glued-on wrap. While trying to follow the very confusing instructions some of the “wood” shattered or ripped right through. Some of the screws were too long so I had to cut them down to make them work. This took so much time and at the end to attach the headboard to the base none of the wholes matched up and waisted even more time. I had to buy and borrow one of my neighbors tools to correct the problem. That was a mistake and shattered the wood more. Over all it look beautiful in camera for product but not worth the quality especially the metal/physical time it took to build. I’d never buy this again nor suggest it to anyone.
