Description

At the heart of the BX Chipper is an oversize Heavy Duty Rotor with reversible chipping blades. The large diameter rotor has a faster tip speed for improved chipping action and the heavy gauge steel keeps your momentum to power through the tuff stuff. Blades The reversible blades are precision cut high grade hardened tool steel. Hardening increase performance and extends life of the cutting edge, maximizing the performance of the chipper. Air Vents Blowing force is maximized with air intake vents on the side of the chipper. Air enters through the vents and powers the chips out the chute up to 20 feet. Twig Breaker Blower Paddles Behind the blades are blower paddles with intergrated twig breakers designed for greater output force and smaller chips exiting the machine. This provides more consistent chip size and allows you to propel the chips further. Adjustable Chute Easily control where you want the chips with the double adjustable exit chute. The chute swivels 300 degrees and the top deflector adjusts the distance. Self-Feeding Hopper The self-feed hopper is designed to angle the brush against the rotor and blades, pulling the branches into the chipper. Feed hopper fold for easy storage and transport.

Shipping was fast . I have been using and It’s just great . I like it a lot because I have so many old trees that are dropping limes all the time . So I just pile them up and once a month, I chipper them . Keeps my land looking so nice . Build very good and will last for years .

Have used the chipper now for around 7 hours and I really like it. Cleaning out old fence lines with it is a work saver. Chip the brush and blow it into the field. Disperses chips enough that you don’t have big piles. It’s supposed to chip up to 4” but anything bigger than 3” I cut up for firewood. I use it with a 25 hp kubota compact tractor. ... show more

A+. Love it! Plenty of cutting power and delivery was way better than traveling to pick one up somewhere. I did have to unload it with my tractor but maybe that's a shipping option? Put it together and had to trim the drive shaft about 4 inches. Now it runs great and very well balanced. Good instructions. Throws chips well and pulls in brush better than i thought it would being its just gravity. Would recommend to friends. ... show more

Over all a nice unit. Works well on my Kabota 2320 and ground up 3" locust limbs. That is a good test for any machine. My only complant is I had to go to Lowe's and get some nylon insert lock nuts to replace the acorn nuts that came on the exhaust shoot as they worked free and fell off. Assembly was very easy. I did check all bolts to make certain everything preassembled was tight. There were a couple that were loose. The chipper worked as described. It chipped larger branches very well. The small branches, 1/4" and less, weren't really chipped, just broke. This may not be a problem with the machine but the way I had it set up. I don't really know enough about how to set one up to say. I left everything in the chipping chamber exactly the way it was sent. Thing is a beast! Got it 3 days earlier than expected! Was packed extremely well! Took so time to get it unpacked and assembled but well worth it. I have 19hp at my pto and didnt matter what I fed into it. If it fit in the hole at the bottom it spit it out the chute. Only thing I dont like to the chute turn lock. It's a bit clunky. But really how often donyou adjust the chute. And it might get smoother with time. Great attachment and bestco waa great to work with ... show more

Great value and a hard working chipper. Assembly was easy. One small problem. The PTO drive shaft was 5 inches too long for my tractor so I cut it down a bit and now all is well. I've used it for four days straight and my property looks amazing already!!

    • Works excellent, better than expected.
Chipper works very well, long branches feed right in. It took me 2-3 hours to assemble but I checked all bolts as the manual states to check after 1st hour use then not so frequently. It had some sctaches from shipping but given the price and free shipping I didn't mind. It's a wood chipper after all. I run it with a BX23S at 3200 rpm to get 540 on the PTO. Easy to grease, easy to replace shear pins (don't try >3" even dead pine) Rotor spins smooth, one bolt to open top cover to clear if needed (when I broke a shear pin only) and check bolt torque for maintenance.
