This was a big upgrade for my old Dell Optiflex 7040 mini computer/tower. This SSD is the exact size as the old WD Blue that came out of the computer. Though haven't tested the throughput and speed of the drive. But anything SSD is going to be a big improvement over the old disc and platter style hard drive which is being phased out. Initially it generated two errors while transferring or copying a disk to this one. Later I discovered the errors were warnings instead. I proceeded to install it into my laptop where it came to life immediately and appears to be working fast and efficient.
