I'm new to airbrush and I have used other paint before. This paint is a little thick so definitely have to reduce it but it flowers perfectly, the other repaint I used kept clogging my brush but this didn't clog once. Definitely recommend this for someone starting out.

    • Large palette and easy to use
This paint set works well with my airbrush. I struggled a bit to use these at first only to realize it was the tool and the painter, not the paint. Now that I've figured things out, I'm extremely happy with these paints. The paints really don't require much thinning, but a lot of that depends on your airbrush. If you need the thinner the package comes with six bottles of the stuff which would not only thin the viscosity but also the coloring. The range of colors is pretty wide with 24 "normal" colors, but also 6 metallic colors, 6 neon colors, and 8 iridescent colors. I would have preferred a few additional colors of brown and earthy greens and less red and pink, but that's just me and my typical coloring needs I've used these on plastic, including 3d models, paper, wood, ceramic, and metals. I have used it on stone, but the stone was prepped with an undercoat of paint already, so your mileage may vary, nonetheless, it made for a great application that looked amazing. ... show more

    • Excellent set of iridescent paints that add to your paints with great colors
I do (or did a lot of 3D printing.) I use a high-quality air brush to paint some of my models. (I am getting better at it...or "was". My 3D printing was interrupted by a hurricane/flood and lost most of my possessions, but my 3D printers made it through as did these paints! But as my house is not "together" anymore as I wait to rebuild and the 3D printers are in storage and these paints are in bins, I have not been able to use these MORE recently.) However, I did use several of these PRIOR to the hurricane and with just a slight bit of thinning I got fantastic results. (Fantastic to ME as I am still "learning", but that speaks to the spray ability of these paints with my limited experience with airbrushing I was getting very good results IMO!) These paints not only WORK well in your airbrush, they cover well AND you get the varying shades of colors you will USE more frequently. I find the varying colors really helped me create "depth" on my models without "layering" darker colors underneath to "create" that depth. Instead, I was able to just switch to the "next shade" of blue or red to really make my models pop! I recommend this set for this reason more than any other personally. I have several paint sets and so many of them come with colors you will NEVER use just to get the "bottle count" up! This set gives you varying shades of the BEST colors so you don't have to waste your time MIXING custom colors constantly! At the time of review this set is on a "discount" and well worth the purchase IMO. I can't wait to get back to painting with these, but it'll be a bit more I am afraid. ... show more
