I purchased this pop-up tent for my condo in Florida. We don't have a lot of parties there but when we do this will provide some needed cover from the intense sun. I like that it is relatively light and folds up small for easy storage. My condo doesn't have a lot of storage space. The tent, folded and inserted in its supplied case weighs about 25 pounds. The storage case is 46"L x 7 1/2"W x 7 1/2" T. It has a zippered opening on one side and 2 carry handles. The case also holds the extra stakes and cords to hold down the tent on windy days. The long zipper on the case makes taking out the folded frame and tent fabric very easy. The direction for putting up the tent are stitched to the outside of the case. Basically, you set up the folded frame on its legs and attach the tent fabric (using hook and loop tabs) to the four corner posts. Then you expand the folded frame by pulling the corner posts apart from each other- this is best done with 2 people. Once you have it expanded most of the way, you need to pull up on the expandable cross pieces where they attach to the corner posts until they lock in place using a spring-loaded pin and a red plastic toggle button. Once this is done on all 4 corners the expanding cross pieces (between the corner posts) have been stretched out to their max length. Now you can extend the legs to set the final height of the tent. There are 3 height positions you can chose. Once the accordion pieces and height has been set, move under the tent to finalize the hook and loop connections at each corner. You should also attach the small hook and loop straps located on the sides of the tent fabric to the accordion frames. The tent is now set up. If it's windy, add the stakes and cords to the corners to add stability. Once you've set up the tent once, the second time will be much faster as you'll understand how to make the adjustments. It's actually very simple. One other comment, you'll notice from the pictures that the tent is white. It's also very thin and lightweight. What is most unusual is its ability to block the light. If you look at the pictures, you will see I set up the tent on a very bright day, but the tent cuts down the light and creates a very dark shadow underneath. The tent also includes a large vent. It all works great in the sun The tent meets the descriptions and images on the website. We're very happy with the product we received. The tent is well-made from quality materials. The 8x8 foot size is perfect for my small yard. It's lightweight and stows away in a small space. And, It sets up quickly and includes extra stakes for windy days. I would recommend it ... show more

Overall it is very sturdy as long as you use the stakes to hold it down when there is wind. It is much smaller than I actually anticipated, but it doesn't stop us from using it. We love being able to go camping and set it up to block the sun and give us a little bit of shade. 10/10 would recommend.

Nice quality & I love the 8x8 size. We have a 10x10 that we use when it's the whole family but this 8X8 is actually perfect for me to handle on my own and fits a bit better in my car. It pulls out smoothly and locks into place easily. I do have to do one corner at a time but because it is a little smaller it is easy to do on my own without it over balancing. Then all I have to do is extend the legs which is super easy using a cinch-lever vs. pushing in the metal tab - no more broken nails. The feet on this guy are very sturdy and have holes for stakes which were included, kind of chincy but they always are. The awning fabric is thick ripstop nylon with UV coating for great shade & sun protection. It secures well & snug to the frame so no flapping around in windy conditions. It has tabs to loop thru guy-lines to secure it really well in windy conditions. It is appreciable lighter than my old awning by Ozarks brand (walmart) which I appreciate cause I am usually hauling it around by myself. The carry bag is nice weight oxford canvas with well reinforced stress points and a sturdy wheeled base. It is fitted to the awning but just loose enough to get 4 sidewalls wrapped around and tucked into the bag too. I also stuff in 4 heavy duty stakes, guy-lines and a mallet into the bag. We ordered this pop-up canopy tent for those rare occasions we you are having friends over for those occasional yard parties and to provide some summer shade or rain protection when or where needed.. We may also use this to go over our inflatable patio pool, if it starts getting too hot, out in the yard. It seems of a reasonable quality, and is exactly as is described on the makers web page and also, in the many excellent reviews that it received. It comes complete with everything that you need to secure it to the ground, but I may buy some side panels for this too, later on down the road, if we end up using this a lot. I especially like the way it packs down into its own case with wheels on. As it is not so light, this make moving it around, a breeze! This canopy tent measure 10x10 and is made of a waterproof oxford material. I really like that it has waterproof coating which gives me UPF protection from the bright sun during our Spring and Summer markets. It states that it can be a one-person installation but I don't have that ability. It takes two people for me to get it up easily. It doesn't require any special or extra tools, everything works exactly as the directions recommend. I do appreciate the air vent; it helps circulate the air during the heat of the day.
