The media could not be loaded. I've had car DVD players before and I hated that they'd start the DVD over again when you got back into the car after a stop. I love that these ones remember where you were at. It can be a DVD or a movie on a USB stick and it will just pick back up from where it left off. I also like that you can download movies onto a USB stick. It supports up to 32 GB USB drives, so you can fit about a dozen high-quality movies, or more if you drop the quality a bit. I did have to re-encode my H264 (.mp4) movies into DivX (.avi) for the player to play them correctly. I used Freemake software to do it. The players also have internal batteries, so if you stop for gas or something and turn off the car, your kids can keep watching the movie if they want while the car is turned off. I don't know how long they last, however. I've only tested them out for 5-10 minutes while the car was off so far. These players come with traditional mounting straps, but I haven't been a fan of those with previous car DVD players in our Honda Pilot. The good news is that they also come with hard plastic brackets that can be attached to the metal part of the headrest and then the monitors are built to mount on to the bracket thing. There are two screens that can be connected with a cord so both will play the same movie. We wanted a car with a DVD entertainment system, but this will work great for us! We have two toddlers and didn’t want to just hand them devices on road trips. They are straight forward and easy to use, and we love that there’s a car adapter so they can be plugged into the car. I bought this DVD player for my kids so they can watch cartoons on long trips. It could be connected directly to your phone and play any videos. It has rechargeable battery built in so you can play on playground or camping. For one screen battery life about 4-5 hours and for two screens about 2-3 hours. It doesn’t play blue ray. What the most important of the Portable Blu-Ray Player is that it's available to upgrade the software to improve the player. At now, there are several problems, from the microSD it can play any video of 1080p MP4 H.264 but it does not support to play the video of 1080P MP4 H.265, nor MKV; the other problem is that I cannot to choose any subtitles SRT (no matter if it's file's name is different) to play video. On the other hand, it can play movies from DVDs without any problems. Ah, the other problem is when the player is connected with monitor by HDMI, I cannot to choose the audio output for my headphone instead of HDMI. Please release a new version of software to upgrade my player to solve these problems, thanks. ... show more

I purchased the Fangor 10.1 player to use at home and on the go. I read many reviews before purchasing this particular dvd player. There were negative reviews but overall I thought was worth checking out and so glad I did. There were several people who indicated the sound was not very good and I have to disagree. I wear hearing aids and without my aids I found the volume way more than adequate. I watch movies with the sound around 9 or 10 but the controls go way higher than that. I have found the sound can be affected by different dvd's i am watching which may be the issue others have found. When playing video's or music cd's the operation is smooth and easy. The setup was quick and the remote control is a nice feature as well. I am from the US but currently reside in Europe and like the fact it came with multiple plug adapters!! It also came with a car charger which so far have not used but is nice to have as backup. The only minor issue or negative is depending on where you are sitting you will have to angle the screen to see clearly as it is distorted if you are looking from a side angle so you do have to watch looking directly at the screen or tilt slightly up or down. I have been very happy with this and would recommend this purchase. I hope to have many years traveling with this dvd player. As a bonus, it came with the option of a free storage case or a gift card which i was unaware of!!!!!! ... show more

The first one we received would not play blu-ray disks and completely stopped working after 4 months. The company gave us a free replacement and it is working great. Note: The instructions are not clear as to how to set the machine to play blu-ray disks.
