I upgraded my kitchen/dining room from fluorescent fixtures. A bit tricky to fit to the boxes. I have experience and it wasn't too difficult. Patience is the key. Much brighter as I was surprised. I bought this because I liked the wood grain look. In person that wood grain looked quite fake. If you are looking at this to match "wood" decor...buy it in a way you can return it if you don't like it.

Once the fixture is installed, just hook up three wires, (Hot, Neutral, and Ground) then turn the power on and the area id flooded with lifgt!
