    • Don’t buy this incubator
I was hoping this would be a nice little incubator for hatching small batches of eggs. Pretty much the only thing on it that actually works is the egg Turner. It doesn’t hold the proper temperature. I can’t even get it up to the temperature that would hatch. It doesn’t maintain a consistent humidity. And the read out on the front is inaccurate. I purchased a separate thermometer and humidity reader and was shocked at how different it was from the read out. I tried calibrating the incubator to be separate thermometer, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it. I tried several times. Consistently runs around 94° and the humidity is ridiculously unstable. It shoots up when you add water and then instantly dries out. I’m pretty sure it killed my emu egg, and I’m really ticked off about that. On top of everything else, the alarm that goes off when the temperature changes is incredibly irritating, and it does it if all you do is open the top long enough to check the egg or the thermometer you have to put inside to get an accurate temperature. ... show more

    • Read all directions. Leave base in styrofoam.
Worked well with good fertilized eggs. Line up eggs from back as they turn they walk forward. Read up on temps and turning of eggs. Temp in Celsius. No real way to measure humidity, just put water in bottom tray and mist eggs when needed. All in all it works good. Great for small operation.

The power adaptor is twice as long as it needs to be and it wabbles in the hole. So if and when the eggs turn or someone walks to close it loses power. So I lose eggs.

Tried 3 hatches unsuccessful due to not being able to get correct temperature.. temperature is not calibrated right .. don't waist your money or time on this incubator
