These FACHIOO Water Filter Replacements work just as expected. They are shaped a bit differently than the brand name ones, but still fit well. (see pics) I didn't notice any instructions in the pack, but simply soak the filter in the pitcher for 10 minutes. Then remove the filter and shake GENTLY side to side and rinse. (due to the larger width, i needed to remove with pliers) Insert firmly into the pitcher and fill. Discard the 1st two batches (use for plants or diffuser) and start fresh with your clean pitcher. My filter took two minutes to completely drain into the pitcher. Yours may vary. I did notice that this filter has a higher chlorine reduction. I have well water and this is not an issue for me. If you are on city water, this could be a plus. The best thing that I noticed was the absence of sulfur smell in the filtered water. Huge plus for me! Basically... Pros: -Good taste -Removes sulfur odor -Better option for chlorinated city water -Tight fit Cons: -Costs more per unit than a 3 pack of Waterdrop filters ... show more

I wasn't sure if I even had a Waterdrop brand purifier, but I knew this looked like it would fit. Turns out, I do in fact have that brand. So it was a perfect fit. As long as you follow the instructions, namely running water through it before filtering your actual drinking water, it will work well and make the water taste a lot cleaner. ... show more

The filter differs very slightly in design from the OEM filter, and fits properly. As I don't have lab equipment to test the results, I can only go on taste, and it passes that test. Economically, it currently gives only a slight advantage over the OEM filter cost, so compare current pricing on both to make your decision. No instructions were included, but you probably already know how to install the filter, and if not, the instructions aren't complex and are easy to find online. (Soak the filter in water for 10 minutes, install, then discard the first two batches of filtered water). ... show more

This seems to be almost the same as my original Waterdrop filters; it fits and filters the water as expected but isn't as perfect a fit. I can't speak to what the filters contain inside and how they compare to Waterdrop filters in that respect but they seem to be doing a good job filtering the water, which tastes and looks as good as with the original filters. The reason I give the filter only 3 stars is that it's significantly more expensive then the original filters by almost ⅓ because I buy those in a 3-pack. This water filter is smaller, shorter in height than the original Waterdrop filter. This filter has 3 layers: pp cotton, carbon fiber sheet, and non-woven fabric. The original has 4 layers: non-woven fabric, resin, activated carbon fiber, and another non-woven fabric. I like that this filter does work in filtering out chlorine, and basic impurities. If for some reason you can't buy the original filter, this can be a good alternative. They're similar priced, so for me I'll stick with the original. ... show more

I needed a replacement filter for my Waterdrop water pitcher. The name brand replacements are expensive, so I saw this and decided to try it. It actually fits into my unit more snugly than the standard unit did. In terms of water filtration, I have a water testing device and the difference in detected contaminants was much lower after filtration vs. my tap water. The water tastes better too. The media could not be loaded. This does fit my water drip pitcher …filter is not as large as the one that came with my set. It also has sort of a silicone rubber band around the edge for sealing instead of being an exact fit like the original. Still seems to work OK. If I have any issues with lifespan I will update my post. Hope this is helpful. ... show more
