This fabric was very easy to work with when recovering the upholstery on my bed. Was able to use the scraps to recover a stool as well. It looks great and you can hardly tell is faux hair on hide. The great hair on hide look without the shedding of real cowhide! Highly recommend this for your upholstery needs! ... show more

Extremely high quality. Will purchase again for sure! 1 yard recovered 2 stools, the inside of two small drawers AND the top of a hope chest. All for $17! Easy to work with, no excessive fraying at the edges, thick but not too thick to work with. Perfect. Easy to clean as well. Spilled cocoa powder on one of the stools and it wiped right off even after my son had smeared it into the fabric. 😅 ... show more

The fabric is lovely quality! It is quite soft, yet thick & durable and has a cool grain to it like natural hide. It's tough to tell from pictures what fabric will be like and I was very pleasantly surprised at the high quality. One yard was enough to re-cover a kitchen chair and a small ottoman (can't edit the photo to make it upright, sorry!), with a pretty good amount left over. I may make covers for throw pillows with the rest. I like the fabric so much, I thought it would be fun to use in a quilt, but I don't want to overdo my decor with this one pattern! I live in NYC and LOVE the Amazon locker option, but they are too often full. It can be a horrendous experience trying to receive packages at home. The PO frequently loses my stuff which is super aggravating - especially after waiting on long lines in a grungy place. They lost this package the first time it was sent, but Amazon & the seller acted quickly to send a replacement. Excellent customer service, thanks! ... show more

    • VERY BEAUTIFUL FABRIC JUST WHAT WE WANTED

Used this fabric to make a faux COWHIDE rug. I lined it with a faux suede upholstery fabric, and used Dan Tack 2012 Professional Quality Foam & Fabric Spray Adhesive to bond the two together, which is the perfect product, (on Amazon) for this project. It dries quickly and is not stiff. I cut the lining 1/2" smaller all the wy around, than the top piece and folded the top edge into to meet the edge of the lining, using some of the adhesive sprayed into a GLASS container, and a cheep small paint brush. You have to work in section bc it set quickly. Only allow enough time for the adhesive to become tacky, applying a medium thick amount with the brush and folding over in small sections at the time. I used 2 yards of the fabric turned out 5 ft x 6ft This rug could not have turned out more beautiful!!! Normally I'd rather buy from a fabric shop where I can feel the fabric. But after widespread flooding in my area, the two places I might have gotten fabric were closed, and I needed to cover some seats that were not looking too keen. This fabric is a little thin and I might not have bought it if I could have felt it,but it covered the chairs and looks good. I just wonder how long it will last. ... show more
