I was pleasantly surprised how well made this is. Well worth the money. Each basket is very deep, so it will hold a lot of things,and the front is a very nice material., My only advise is to make sure all of the poles are the same size for that particular group,C,D,and E. I found it easier to put soap (dish washing liquid) on the ends to go in easier,and also with the aid of a rubber mallet . I kept all the parts in their groups,so as not to get confused. It took me a little over one hour to put it together,stopping to give my hands a rest. I'm using this for my art supplies,and I know it will help to declutter my art studio. I bought this piece to store fabric, yarn, and paperwork, and it works wonderfully! The instructions were as clear as photos could make them. I should have used gloves or something to protect my hands when trying to push the brackets into the metal pieces. I finally used a hammer and rested the piece on a rug to protect the floor. It took me a while to put together. When I got the first part together it went quicker. I had to use WD 40 to get the rails to slide in all the way and a hammer. It has great storage. The quality isn't great it's cheap but looks better than it really is. It is very light when empty.

I first saw something similar in HobbyLobby. I liked the overall look. The HobbyLobby piece was made of wood (1/4 inch something), preassembled, and appropriately priced. I thought this would be similarly made. It is not. Overall, this is made of plastic (horizontal layer), thin aluminum pipes - for the uprights, and paper and cardboard for the rest. There are several product images that implicitly suggest the size is larger than it is actually. I’m 5’8” and the product is no higher than my hips. This product would fit easily in a linen closet, small pantry, or space that has a minimum width of 3 ft | 36 inches. The product description and specification details are somewhat ‘minimal’ with generic description and light on specific product details. I don’t want to call this out as ‘deceptive’ but rather embellishment to the extreme. For instance, the description or “suggestion” that the cubbies are covered in “fabric” - ummm sure - we’ll go with that. I really can’t describe what the outside material of the top and cubbies feels like textured paper. NOTE: This is NOT very sturdy nor can it withstand liquid spills. You do not need to place much pressure on the frame to cause the whole thing to shift (wobble). I would ABSOLUTELY not have this planned for a space with a rug. Moroccan or Turkish like throw rugs would work; anything with a pile - nope. Any liquid spilled on or in any part of this product will be absorbed by the paper/cardboard and make whatever area that was wet to become paper mache and unrepairable. The cubbies are NOT capable of storing groups of bundled items that have sharp edges, or weigh over 3 lbs when bundled, or need a firm surface to prevent shifting to the lowest point. The bottoms of each level and the sides | bottoms of the cubbies are ridiculously flimsy. Is there any feasible use for this product?? Hmmm let’s see… This is perfect if it’s just for decoration and left empty; staging a home for sale. Or if you do not overstuff, you can store things like: infant t-shirts, infant diapers, standard sized bath towels & wash cloths, a couple boxes of tissues, remote controls, socks, a few t-shirts, pet toys or treats, etc. The product images that show the cubbies storing shirts and under garments IS accurate. I honestly wouldn’t pay any price higher than $10 with tax. The only reason why I’m keeping and not returning it is that I need an ‘emergency’ replacement. I plan to adding plexiglass to reinforce the flat surfaces. I’m going to purchase 1/4 inch masonry board sized to fit the back. It’ll need to be attached to add stabilization to the horizontal. ::sigh:: Really I can’t in good conscience recommend this UNLESS you are desperate & need something quick (like me), for temporary use and have $50 to throw away. :-( I wish it was possible to rate this w/ half a star for easy, tool-less assembly :::alas::: ============= UPDATE: ============= The seller contacted me shortly after the posting of my review; I did not contact them first. I suggested several changes to include make the product description more explicit about the quality of this item and consider reducing the price. The product IS nice to look at - just not functional 😬 I did not request it but the seller also gave me a full refund. (Thank you) I would definitely rate the seller themselves with much higher than this product. I really like this storage unit. It is very pretty and practical. Great for the price. However, it is very light. Before I had a chance to attach it to the wall my cat tried to open one of the cubbies and the whole unit came over on him. It really needs to be attached to the wall. Also it was easy to put together but it was time consuming. I would still buy it again ... show more

Putting this thing together was nightmare. I’m usually pretty good at assembling items, even those without instructions but this one was rage inducing. I even had my husband and then later my sister attempting to put it together thinking I just wasn’t doing it right. So. Right now it still sits in my garage only partially done. Hopefully some day I’ll be able to to finally finish it without having a meltdown.😳 ... show more
