  • Perfect for Artists: Soft, Effective, and Easy to Use
I grabbed these kneaded erasers for sketching, and they’re fantastic! The large size is perfect for bigger projects, and they’re super soft and easy to knead into any shape I need. They work great for lifting graphite and charcoal without smudging or damaging the paper, which is a huge plus for detailed work. I also love how they don’t leave residue behind like regular erasers. The gray color hides dirt pretty well too, so they stay looking clean longer. If you’re into drawing or sketching, these are a must-have in your art kit! ... show more

  • Best kneaded erasers
Other brands the erasers get hard quickly. These ones stay soft for a long time and are easily maleable. Erasers well. Top brand quality.

  • Great
They’re great kneadable erasers, not hard to shape, are great for making sketch lighter, and are a color that never lets them look dirty. My friend borrowed them and said that this brand I was better quality than some other kneadable erasers she’s had in the past.

  • These are great charcoal erasers
These are great charcoal pencil erasers. As a professional artist, I'm pleased to say they work very well in lifting excess charcoal from my sketches, as well as erasing. There is no detectible odor from them. They are a bargain price.

  • Don't need a container for each eraser
I loved the idea of these erasers having containers, since kneaded erasers pick up every bit of fluff and dust. Problem is that the containers are shaped like the brand new erasers, so once you start using one they don't easily fit in the container without squishing them in. I use half an eraser at a time, so I've only been using the container for the unused portion of the cut in half erasers which defeats the purpose. Wrapped, unused erasers don't need a container. I will probably repurpose the containers so they aren't wasted. For me, it would be better to have a pack of wrapped erasers and 1 or 2 containers to keep your currently used eraser clean, and IMO that container would be better if it were shaped differently. A deeper cube or rectangle container would be best. The erasers themselves are fine! A good quality kneaded eraser which works well for erasing wide areas or shaped to a point or line for details, picking up a small amount of charcoal or pencil when shading, etc. They are maybe a little softer than I prefer. ... show more

  • I’d forgotten how good these are!
I’d forgotten how good these are! I used to use kneaded erasers in drawing class, but stopped keeping them around afterwards. But when regular pink pencil erasers were leaving streaks and too harsh on the ink for erasing pencil guidelines on calligraphy, I tried these again and they work perfectly. They’ll be good to have for sketching and notes too, now that I’ve rediscovered their usefulness. The plastic cases are a great new feature - highly recommend getting the case since it will both keep the eraser from sticking to things and things sticking to the eraser, which was always an annoyance with kneaded erasers. I was tempted by the cheaper off-brands, but Faber Castell is reliable quality, and it’s not worth saving a few cents to risk all the time and materials I’ve invested in a piece of art. ... show more

  • Ever stepped in gum?
If you ever stepped in gum, separating these kneading erasers will remind you of that, that's how they separate lol. Anyways, I have to admit, I'm disappointed cause I was hoping they would erase better than traditional erasers, but no dice. I do like that there are no residue, so you're not smudging your art as you brush them away. The fact that simply pressing these erasers can help with areas that are over shaded. The little containers they come in are nice, but to put the eraser back, you have to press them in the square shape again for it to fit, so I'm using another small container. 1st image, drawn with traditional pencil and a color pencil. 2nd image, both of them don't erase "writing" very good, but they do erase the shading area, the kneaded eraser didn't do a good job at all on the colored art, so, third image, I erased more of it with the traditional eraser, which did slightly better, but still failed to erase the whole thing. It might be the brand color pencil (Sanford), but who knows. I actually picked up my Paper Mate mechanical pencil out of curiosity and it actually did a better job than both traditional and kneaded erasers, no dice on the colored heart though. 5 stars, I bought for the wrong purpose (stronger strength), but it stands up to what you advertised, and I do love it! PS, don't step in gum :) haha ... show more
