I only used them on plane rides so I didn’t it was worth the trouble to change them. But this past time traveling, my originally red headphones started leaving bits of pieces in my ear and I figured it was time to change them. As you can tell from my second photo, my old ear pads were getting pretty gross and gunked up (I sweat a lot but earbuds tend to fall out of my ears…). These made my Beats look almost brand new!! The new pads came with a wipe and small metal spatula tool to lever off the old ones. So really it’s a lil replacement kit! Very handy if you don’t happen to have the right things on hand to do the replacement. The adhesive seems to be decently strong and the pads seem as comfortable as the originals once were. Excited to get more use out of my headphones! Will say the wipe didn’t get ALL the residue off, but I’ve got rubbing alcohol wipes I can get the remainder off with, so I’m not as concerned as I could be. Installation was relatively simple and straightforward. Just be cautious yanking your old pads off— they’re on a plastic ring that might snap while you’re working. I guess that is to say: don’t be concerned if you hear a snap!!! You’re doing the right thing lol ... show more

Had to look at a YouTube video to get an idea of how to replace them. The process was really easy and took about 10 mins. Made my beats look brand new! I love them especially for the price. I don’t need new earphones!

Installed these on my Beats headphones. Surprisingly they fit and were not to hard to install. They are very comfortable. I like them better than the the original pads. Fine for wearing for long periods. Great product.

This is the 2nd earpad replacement I've bought. They were both easy to install. However these earpads had great instructions, my last ones were unclear and I didn't remove the inner lining from old earpads. The last earpad replacements I had disintegrated quickly within a few months and I put off replacing it. I ordered these ones since they're cheap and had good reviews, it's been a few months and the earpads have held up while providing better noise cancellation than the other replacements. I thought my Beats were just getting old or breaking down but after replacing earpads they work just like new. I'm not sure if the other replacement breaking down quickly OR the beats sound quality decreasing was due to improper installation on my previous replacements. My original ear pads were torn apart so I gave these a try. They are way more comfortable than the original pads the headphones come with. The audio leakage is also minimal for people around you. Even if you don't need to replace your existing ear pads, I highly recommend doing so anyways because let me tell you, these are 10x better and dare I say life changing.
