  • Doesn't work as well as I had hoped. Broken part and can't find replacement.
Style: Standard
I've used this tool a couple of times on my 2nd Floor gutters. A few things I like, but a few pretty fatal flaws: + handle is comfortable + product is pretty light-weight. Obviously it's heavier when it's full of water, and takes some strength to operate fully extended, but it's not terrible to manage. + collapses down to a reasonable storage length and it does extend to reach my gutters (just) + valve is a godsend as it would be unmanageable without it - The plastic connectors can't be tightened enough. The brush-head unscrews and gets lost in the gutter. I'm even aware of this risk (now) and pull it down every minute or so to retighten it and STILL it comes off and I have to get the ladder out to retrieve it. I've used tools to tighten it and still it comes undone. Is glue the answer? Kind of reduces the utility of this if that's needed. - The plastic end that connects the brush-head to the pole (after the turn) snapped/broke Sunday (see picture). I can't figure out how to reach the company to see about a replacement, but without that piece I can't use the brush and the water pressure isn't really enough to do much. You need to pull fairly hard to move leaves (water alone won't do it with the Poplars around my house), and I don't believe I was misusing it. - I wish the pole length beyond the turn at the end was a bit longer and would turn 90-degrees sideways to 'push' the debris. As it just forms a hook, you have to stand at an angle, which reduces the reach a bit. - After a few uses, the telescoping gets much more difficult to extend/retract. Not sure why. Even with the plastic nut fully detached, it's still an effort to pull it apart and compress it back together. If I use it again (doubtful), I may try some silicon lube to make it work better. A few other observations: * You will likely get wet/dirty. It's a wet/dirty job and to reach a full second story gutter you have to be kind of underneath the splash zone. It works best if you point the "turn" at the brush-head end toward you and stand about 5 feet in front of it (along the house), but there's no avoiding getting wet. * I wish it had a shovel or wedge attachment as a gutter full of leaves just can't be moved along by a tool like this. You have to get them out of the gutter as most residential downspouts will just clog up. * My gutters don't have hangers (they're hung from underneath), which should be perfect for this tool (but alas...). I'd imagine traditional K-style gutters, with hangers every few feet, would be a nightmare. Minimally, expect to go very slowly, as you would have to lift it out of the gutter at every hanger and each hanger presents a new opportunity for leaves/branches to get stuck. If I could get a replacement part, I'd probably try again, but without that part, I think this goes in the trash. :(. I don't think I'd bother getting it if I had to do it all over again. (Also, the review template asks for "Sheerness". I've no clue what that means in this context. ... show more

  • this item works better without using water,
Style: Deluxe
it does not stay together that well, and if you had an air house with it would be better, and you have to have good water pressure for it to work really well, if you wait too long and let your gutters get full it is a lot harder to clean, so clean often and do not wait for all of your leaves to fall, ... show more

  • Does the job well. Better with some slight improvements
Style: Standard
Like many I have hard to reach gutter due to height and I was looking for a product that would help me keep them clear. The Ezy Flo High Reach Gutter Cleaning Kit allows me to do that. Easy to use and simple to put together. The brush is very useful. Two things to consider. The brush and nozzle head will unscrew when if they can caught on the gutter while you are using it. Until I found a solution I had to stop cleaning the gutter and tighten them back on. I used duct tape to stop this from happening in both cases. The "issue" is controlling of the wand when fully extended. Standing on the ground it is less of an issue but if you are on a ladder and cannot use both hands this can be challenging. Also you cannot retract the segments when the water is running through the wand. You simply have to turn the selector knob to off and retract the upper or lower segment. This will push the water that is in those segments out so be aware. ... show more

  • Great product, just what I needed.
Style: Standard
Product works beautifully. I bought the standard model, did not use the brush and was attached to a municipal water supply. I used it to flush out my second story gutters and unblock clogs at the downspouts. I directed the end of the curved arm directly into the downspout. Within a few seconds the clog was removed. I then rinsed the remainder of the gutters using the curved arm. Some of the reviews pointed out that the device is flimsy. When filled with water it does flex quite a bit and is heavy to handle. This is easily remedied by attaching the hose, extending the wand, hooking it into the gutter and then turning on the water. Before removing, turn off the water, loosen a hose connection and allow the device to drain. No flexing, much lighter and easier to maneuver. No water in the wand solves those concerns. Some people complained about leaks. I did notice a little leaking but most of what I experienced was splashing. I cleaned two 35 foot gutters, and 2 clogged downspouts in less than an hour, from the ground. In my mind the ease, convenience and safety far exceeds any inconvenience of a little wetness. ... show more

  • The tool for flushing gutters / downspouts I've been looking for!
Style: Deluxe
I've been looking for a tool that would allow me to clean and flush my gutters on a 1.5-2 story house, without needing to dig out the ladder. This tool does the trick, and I couldn't be happier. Other reviewers have claimed that this is weak and doesn't function as advertised. But for me, it was all about getting water up to the gutters anywhere from 15-20 feet off the ground, and the ability to direct the flow so I could clean and flush out the various pine needles, leaves, and "helicopter seeds" that tend to block the downspouts and longer gutter runs. This does an excellent job in this regard. I have not used the brush attachments yet, so cannot provide a review for those. The key features are the curved attachment at the end that allows a steady stream of water to point down and into the gutters, and then the valve at the bottom of the tool where you can turn the water off and on. The adjustment bushings allow for easy changing of the length of the pole. The one caution is to periodically check the bushings, especially the one at the very top, as they do loosen a bit as you move the pole around. No big deal, as you just need to pay attention. The real benefit to this design is not only the ability to aim the water flow in either direction within the gutters, but also the way you can stick the end into the top of the downspouts and really flush out anything that might be blocking the way. I was amazed at all of the crud that washed down each downspout after I got done. I easily give this 5 stars for the flushing and rinsing ability of this tool. The brush attachments for windows and siding is a bonus. Definitely recommend. ... show more
