With a gaggle of nieces and nephews in my family, this bottle dispenser adapter is not new to me, but they’re a GREAT little invention! I needed one for some liquid vitamins I have to give 1 of my pups everyday, and it works beautifully! My bottle opening is 9/16” and the adapter fits perfectly in the bottle. As you’ll see in my photos, it fits up to the 4th marker from the very bottom and allows me to effortlessly flip it up and draw the liquid. Now…as for the syringe…I don’t intend on using this particular syringe as I need a much smaller amount so I ordered a whole box of 1.0 ml syringes to accommodate my need. That being said, to everyone who has complained about the markings rubbing off on the included syringe…this is literally par for the course on any plastic syringe on the market. In my 30+ years of using these types of syringes, I cannot say that I’ve ever come across one that this doesn’t happen to…so really, it’s a rather ridiculous thing to complain about. What one can do to alleviate this issue is very easy! First, mark the syringe with some colored tape of some kind…then when the markings wear off, you still know where the dosages are. I used a piece of a colored label (yellow) I have for my label maker and it worked perfectly. I also ordered some stickers, that are specifically made for marking dosages on syringes that I first saw when I was given a syringe from my vet and they had marked the syringe with these stickers. They’re fantastic!! I wasn’t able to find them on here, so I searched them on the web and found a place called label value that sold them. I ordered them and received them in 2 days!! The roll comes with 500 stickers and are very reasonably priced!! Hopefully these 2 very simple solutions will help others who are dealing with the markings rubbing off these syringes. I’d highly recommend a little proactive problem solving to alleviate the frustrations down the road once the markings start to disappear. ... show more

    • No More Plungers With a Rubber Tip!

My dog takes an oral medication three times day for the rest of her lifetime. Our vet gave us some syringes where the plunger had a rubber tip. After a couple weeks, the plungers wouldn't fit right making the syringe useless. After fighting with this issue, we finally learned that the rubber tips expand. While the syringes from the vet were free, it was a huge pain. I started exploring other syringes and found this one with a plastic plunger. It works so well. We've used it every day, three times a day washing it every time, for a couple weeks and it still works great! Since the medicine is a pill I dissolve right in the syringe before administering, I don't care about the numbers on the syringe. I would suggest if this is important to you, maybe take a permanent marker and mark the syringe if the numbers start to fade. The plastic plunger is the answer for me! ... show more

These things are amazing! It makes getting medicine into the syringe soooo much easier. I honestly don’t know why I didn’t buy them sooner. They stay in the medicine well. Very easy to use and extremely useful tool for fishkeeping. I use it for everything from drawing water for testing to dosing water treatments. The markings are clear and easy to read and the plunger glides smoothly...sometimes. This product is a great idea! This is the exact tool I was looking for to get all the medicine out of the bottle. However, the adapter doesn't fit all bottle sizes (amber vials at least). That's what I needed it for specifically.
