    • Great - but one flaw!

Terrific under counter light. I wish it was a tad brighter, but most will find it just fine. Easy to use right out of the box and it goes a looooooong time before needing to recharge the light. Two flaws here: 1. The light should flash twice or three times quickly to let you know when the battery is down to 10%. It goes a long time without needing to be recharged, but obviously it stinks to find out the battery needs charging when you need the light to go on! 2. The power button should be slightly elevated - you wind up slapping the item trying to figure out where the power button is when you have to turn it on manually. Currently using these in a vacation home in the kitchen under counters; however, I'll be installing two more. One under the sink cabinet in the guest bathroom so they have light at night and one under my geriatric dad's bed so a light goes on when he has to get up in the middle of the night and needs light to find his way to the door without turning on a bright bedroom light. I used this item in my bedroom closet. I like that it gives plenty of light. I wish i had brought two but wanted to be on the safe side. I would definitely recommend buying. My current space has multiple closets, none of which have any lights nor any exterior lights that do a good job of shining into the depths of said closets. These lights are great. They are motion activated, which is fantastic. The color of the light is a nice yellowish hue as opposed to an industrial blue light (they do make a blue light version for those who prefer the industrial look). The lights only needs to be recharged every six months or so, and the removable battery makes that process very simple. I was expecting the light to turn on only by detection of motion, but it really depends on how light/dark the environment is. If it's dark or lights are turned off, it works well, but if there are other lights turned on, it doesn't. I have it on my counter space and was hoping it was also going to provide light during the day, but that's rarely the case. I rated this a 4 star instead of 5 due to the motion sensor not working reliably. However, I simply move the power switch to the "on" position and leave it in that position. When I want to turn it on or off I just tap on the multi-function icon. The other minor gripe involves the color temperature. It always reverts to the "warm" setting when the light is turned off. I have to tap the multi-function icon to change the color temperature every time I use the light. Other than those two issues the light is great. It appears to be well constructed and is easily able to be removed due to the magnetic attachment feature. I thought I'd just detach the battery for charging but it is just as easy to detach the entire light. Recommended! ... show more
