They were easy to install, but since my cabinets are not smooth, I used Velcro to secure the brackets to the cabinets. Works great.     • Great - but one flaw!

Terrific under counter light. I wish it was a tad brighter, but most will find it just fine. Easy to use right out of the box and it goes a looooooong time before needing to recharge the light. Two flaws here: 1. The light should flash twice or three times quickly to let you know when the battery is down to 10%. It goes a long time without needing to be recharged, but obviously it stinks to find out the battery needs charging when you need the light to go on! 2. The power button should be slightly elevated - you wind up slapping the item trying to figure out where the power button is when you have to turn it on manually. Currently using these in a vacation home in the kitchen under counters; however, I'll be installing two more. One under the sink cabinet in the guest bathroom so they have light at night and one under my geriatric dad's bed so a light goes on when he has to get up in the middle of the night and needs light to find his way to the door without turning on a bright bedroom light. i have a closet that has no light and struggle with a flashlight to find what i want. So when i saw these, i thought this is great. The doors to my closet are mirrored doors with a metal edge. The light has a magnetic back so it was an easy assembly to add them to the inside of my closet on the metal edges. When i open the closet now, there is light. These are truly a game changer. The are easy to set up - charging was quick. I have had then now for a few weeks and have not yet had to recharge them. I would recommend these if you have a cupboard or a space that needs extra light. - maybe under your sink or in your bathroom. You can set the lighting to your preference - which is also nice. They are not bright enough to use as an undercabinet light for work like I hoped when I ordered 2. After repurposing on the hood and in the bathroom, they make great lights for walking into dark rooms to complete small tasks. Over 2 weeks of use battery has stayed charged, but we only use it as motion-activated. If power had gone out in blizzardagedon, they would have been very handy. Once I find out how long the bulbs and batteries last and whether there are reasonably priced replacements; I may buy more for other rooms and elderly family members. So far, no one in the questions or comments seems to have definitive answers. ... show more

My current space has multiple closets, none of which have any lights nor any exterior lights that do a good job of shining into the depths of said closets. These lights are great. They are motion activated, which is fantastic. The color of the light is a nice yellowish hue as opposed to an industrial blue light (they do make a blue light version for those who prefer the industrial look). The lights only needs to be recharged every six months or so, and the removable battery makes that process very simple.     • New version…don’t waste your money

I purchased 3 in 2021 and they were perfect. Lasted 3 years until they just stopped working. I noticed I was charging more often and then by day 2 one day they just stopped coming on. All 3. I figured 3 years was a pretty good run so I ordered 3 more. And noticed they were lighter, magnet contacts are now in 2 small places instead of the whole run of the back and the batteries were more plastic, lighter and harder to click in. Charged them up and thought they were all defective because they wouldn’t turn on until I realized there is a switch on the end of the new version. They all came one and worked however even in night motion mode noticed they wouldn’t turn come on in the daylight so now that I’ve had them a couple of weeks the battery only lasts 2 days. Moral: don’t waste your money. It still shows the old version but you will get the new one. ... show more
