Upgraded my 2wd 1/10 scale act. I bought this and the led programming card. Installed into ecx torment 2wd brushless series. 45 amp esc Pros: It's a great replacement from stock. The throttle trigger is above average response. I like the programing, it helps tune your rc a bit better. Nice big power button Heats up fairly average, fan moves air nicely, and the esc comes with 118°f and warmer option shut off protection. I like to run 3s 5000mah. I get well over 30 minutes per battery, perfect match. Smokes tyres and is powerful! I'm able to do maneuvers I couldn't before due to slower responses while stock. Cons: The fan and programming wire plugs are difficult removing safely from the esc. This makes it difficult to use my programming card made for this series of each. I forsee broken wires/connector pins. The the motor wires will need to be soldered in and they stick up over the fan while bending back downward to connect to the motor(3600kv brushed) it has forced me to lift my body mounts to protect it from damage. Lasted 2 months and started smoking on the first pull of the trigger of the day and since most sellers including this 1 is not an authorized dealer hobbywing won't stand by it so went to the seller and they dnt want to stand by what they sold so now I'm trying to get Amazon to get them to do something about what they sold and falsely advertised about if you buy from a hobby shop or from hobbywing it would prb be a good product ... show more

    • Lacking in program adjustments
It's a solid esc, I like hobbywing alot. This just doesn't seem to have as many options to tweak as the brushed 1080 esc I have. I like the temp cutoffs and.. well that's about it. I am using it in a redcat stk chassis for an attempt at 40mph and it just doesn't have the drag brake force to stop the 7lb chassis as fast as I'd like. There's zero settings for top end power it's just full all the time which sucks for tuning purposes. For this price I would rather have stayed brushed and used a 1080 but I really wanted the temp cutoffs. Will try something else, maybe I just picked the wrong esc for my build. ... show more

Nice esc easy to set up. It would have been nice to get the program card with it but it was inexpensive. would recommend this to anyone.
