    • NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT WHEN CALLED
Difficult to install. Had to install and reinstall the app several times and difficult to hook up tried wireless and wired. did this several times and also kept getting errors, when I tried calling customer service during the middle of the day the response was no one was available. When it was shipped it did not have any packaging for shipping only the sleeve over the box with no tape. They just threw a label on the retail box. Sent it back the next day. I'll move on to something that works. ... show more

    • Does not connect to Vera web interface
I have a Vera Edge controller in one house to control a Schlage door lock, and love the web interface that allows me to enter user passwords, set alert levels, and see exactly which person has used my lock. I bought an Ezlo plus for another house, expecting the same Vera interface would work. However, the Ezlo plus only works with the Vera mobile phone app, not the web app, and the phone app is not as fully-featured as the web app. I cannot see who has used the lock -- a major security flaw. Nor can I set alert levels properly -- the app sends me email EVERY TIME the lock is opened or locked, which is highly annoying. I am thinking of returning the Ezlo plus and looking for an older Vera Edge. ... show more

    • Ezlo plus simply doesn't work
We purchased three Ezlo plus controllers over the last year. It has been a constant headache. Though Vera's tech support has been good (in the sense that it has been available), they have been unable to get the controllers to stay online. At first we thought it was because we were using the wireless connection ... so we brought internet lines to their locations. Now they think it may be a firmware issue. The controllers generally work when they are first connected, but stop controlling devices in a few hours or days. This has been a very disappointing product that was clearly released prior to being ready. I have spent literally hundreds of hours trying to diagnose the problem. Now I am ready to throw these away and see if I can find a ZWave Plus controller that actually works. ... show more

    • Pass Run NOT the old vera!!!
I had high hopes. The lack of a real computer GUI is a major miss!??! The management of this company and the company, in general, is just horrible at customer service!??! They claim XX number of Fully integrated devices- and life is "GOOD" well 99% of those devices are just "paired" and have little to no functionality!??!! But we have 99%or "over 1500 devices" "fully integrated"-(but they don't work as design they just pair) Where are the buttons on the scene controller!?!? The older Vera/VerPlus was NOT perfect-but at least the devices can and do work?!? The CEO will say "yes we have a GUI"..yes on your darn3 inch phone screen!>!??!! and issues like that- or when they do launch the "GUI for PCs" the option allow NOTHNING to be done??!? Keep you old vera...and or just simply move to a different platform!!! ... show more
