  • Works great, but you lose any expansion cards!
Loving the product, it is well built and sturdy. No sag because it comes with a adjustable bracket as pictured beneath my GPU. The only caveat is you lose any and all expansion cards like wifi cards, there is no way to fit them because all of the slots get taken. Still awesome though, I run Ethernet anyways. Temperatures are largely unaffected by the mount. The side to side adjusting is nice if you want that filled-out look. ... show more

  • It works in the H7 and H9
It gets the job done. If you have a chance to get the Cooler Master or NZXT vertical mount, I would definitely go with those over this. Although it's not bad, it is somewhat flimsy and still needs the support bracket installed because it will not be very stable without it and will sag. (Because of the vertical mount, the sag isn't putting pressure on the PCIe, but it doesn't look good.) With the H9, the bracket that comes with it, isn't tall enough, so I had to place something under it. I have since upgraded to the Cooler Master V3 mount and would 100% recommend that over this. Way more sturdy, harder to bend and doesn't need a support bracket to stay in the proper position. NOTE: This is still a decent product and will work just fine if it's the only one you can get. But don't settle if you have a choice lol ... show more

  • Great Mount with a clean install - Customer Service helped replace a defective cable
UPDATE 5/14/23: I changed original my review after I got a mount with a bad cable which caused the system to become unstable. I removed the mount and reinstalled the GPU normally and it worked as expected. If you're getting system reboots (not BSOD) while streaming video, check to see if the cable is the culprit. Game performance also suffered massively. EZDIY reached out and offered to replace the defective cable immediately after my review. It shipped quickly and it took me until the weekend to install it but it is working normally now and the mount is back in. So I think I just got a defective unit. Customer service was very responsive. The mount installed very easily and it well designed. Holds my heavy Sapphire Nitro 7900xtx perfectly. Great unit and great customer service. ... show more

  • Solved my problem
Assembly was easy, and it seemed well designed. The instructions had the usual vagueness. The order of install is more critical, since there are more parts to this unit than the others I saw. The order I did it was to feed the cable under and plug it in the expansion slot last. That took some finger fiddling. See if you can improve on that. I used tin snips to remove the 2nd and 3rd end-bracket divider to facilitate access to the monitor plug-ins. Butter, no filings. The Problem: Daughter had a 6950XT video card that was unreliable. I felt that it was because of the incredible weight supported by the expansion slot. A support bracket didn't help. Laying the tower on its side worked, but not a good solution. It also worked fine in my computer, which has a riser. Solution: Add a riser to her Omen case. ... show more

  • Great option for my build - results may vary
I used this in my O11 Air Mini build and am very happy with the results. Lian Li makes a vertical GPU stand for the O11 Air Mini, but for me, it held the GPU to high in the case and partially blocked other components from view with the GPU in place. So, this EZDIY-FAB option was worth a try, and it worked out great. It allows you to slide the GPU position front to back, but I just kept mine close to the back, in part because of the length of my GPU. They are definitely getting bigger and bigger with each generation. The mounting points and set screws are all well thought out and in the right places. The foot/support is solid yet discrete enough. The one drawback with the support (vs. just being cantilevered as with the Lian Li one made for the case) is that I couldn't maximize my bottom fans. It fits 2 x 140mm fans on the bottom, but I had to go with one 140mm and one 120mm. I don't mind the asymmetrical look, but I could see some people not liking that. The other drawback is that since the GPU doesn't sit completely flush with the back of the case, the ports for my displayport cables were just far enough in that the plug of my displayport cable wouldn't fit between the ribs of the rear slots, so I had to dremel one of the ribs out so the plug could sit where I wanted it to. No biggie for me, but again, I could see how some people aren't comfortable making minor mods or perhaps your case won't lend itself as well to that. The riser cable is PCIe 4.0 and seems to be working fine. No issues with performance. Since the O11 Air Mini is smaller case though, I think the riser cable gets a bit tight when you have to curl it up behind the GPU to where it plugs into the motherboard. Again, no issue for me, but just notable. It is flexible enough to fit though. I can definitely recommend this vertical GPU mount as a great option. ... show more

  • Great v mount gpu kit
Works as intended, fits my rx7900xtx perfect. Just had to modify the fan settings to be optimal for vertical mount gpu and it is running cooler.

  • Won't fit with water cooled backplate
Overall the product seemed well designed and sturdy. The big problem is that the position of the PCIe socket cannot be moved. This meant that my water cooled (with active backplate) GPU would not fit because the angled support interfered with the backplate width.
