Buildup was very flimsy, had doubts about it standing. As supports were put in and roof beams added, was solid. Recommend constant measurement checking, until the supports are in, sides and roof bow and twist. Having 2x4s as wall stabilizers helped - but measure again before cutting side boards. Used 2 kits for an 8X12 building, very easy to put together. All in, about $1500 in building supplies. Way cheaper solution than a pre-fab shed. ... show more

    • Make shed building easy.
Found the material to be very easy to handle and use. The instructions could be better written. But I did change the design some. I built a 10x12 and raised the side walls to 93" so my peak is about 149". I will be building a loft for woodworking storage .

Kit was complete. Found the instructions to be pretty good but the quality of the metal brackets is poor. Very thin material. There is a cut template included that is helpful but when assembling the framing and the shed I found the brackets to be too flimsy at times. Also had to notch boards to get things to fit. Too many screws needed for each bracket, made me question the structural integrity. I don't build for a living but have plenty of experience, I would buy the kit again.     • Bent pieces
The hardware where the 2x4 goes in for where you top plate would go is not bent open fully. It is almost impossible to bend these open. Other purchasers have said the same thing. Also, the instructions aren't very good and very small print. Had to return them. But, it was easy to return.

I’ve read several reviews on this product and people complain about it being to hard or to complicated and that it’s a waste of time and money ..the thing about this kit is you need to take your time and enjoy the build I absolutely loved putting it together and I’m kinda sad that it’s coming to an end….anyone can go buy a prebuilt shed and bam you’re done but their is something special and manly when you build it yourself…. ... show more

These worked great, built a playhouse for the kiddos. The instructions were nonexistent, had to hunt them down on the intrawebs. It’s all built now and it’s perfect.

This kit makes the angles and joints pretty simple and the structure is surprisingly sturdy once completed. Unfortunately, the joint braces are light pieces of stamped sheet metal that are not very strong individually. The instructions call for 2 people to lift the arches for assembly and placement to build the frame, but I did not have another person available to help. I temporarily attached additional pieces of wood to the to reinforce the joints until they were in place and used a ladder and rope to raise them into place by myself. ... show more
