I was disappointed because this is advertised as matte and shimmer blends. I see nothing matte about any of the colors. When I went back to see if I had, in fact, ordered the wrong product, I then noticed everything offered was shimmer. If I had read the reviews, I would have known this, so I also take some responsibility. Love the colors, but I don't do shimmer. Just change the wording in the product description. ... show more

I purchased the "Impressionist (505)" colors in this pallet because of the neutral tones. The "PhotoReady Eye Makeup - Creamy Pigmented in Blendable Matte & Shimmer Finishes" suggested that some colors would be Matte OR Shimmer. From the images, I thought 2 of the colors were Shimmery but unfortunately, they are all Shimmer. I tried it out with high hopes but it looks like 1970s makeup - in neutral tones. This would be great if I was still 13 years old but it is not the 1970s anymore... It stayed on fine and it may be useful for Halloween but otherwise... not really. I'd recommend looking elsewhere. ... show more

I bought this on a whim because frankly I’ve never been particularly deft at the highlighting/shadowing thing & it looked pretty idiot-proof. I also like that in addition to the light & dark neutral brown tones, it offered a frosty pink in the same compact, which I’ve always admired on other people but never tried. Honestly, it’s great. The colors blend really well, lots of options for the lid color (opaque or opalescent) and it lasted about 8 hours. For the price—what’s not to love?! ... show more

I like Revlon products this Eye make up is very good, blends very well, easy to apply. I always use a primer over my lids before applying the eyeshadow, can’t go wrong with Revlon
