This kit was not too difficult to install with the video. The issue I am having is that one of my buttons is sticking when i Close my ps5 controller case tight. I am having to leave controller screws loose to keep from holding the button down. I have taken apart and put back together a dozen times, but I still have the same issue on the same triangle button. As far as feel, it feels great! It works well when it is working correctly Edited: moved to 5 stars. The company has amazing customer service. I can't say that I've ever seen better. Works amazing, if you play Fortnite listen up so when you click into your build it works nice but when you click out of your build you have to actually click the button and not fat finger it, personally I don’t mind having to click it more then smash it but I read a comment when I ordered mine and some guy was complaining about it, I think the product deserves a 8/10 cause sometime it acts a little buggy like it doesn’t shoot but chances are it’s how I installed it, I also just bout the dawn 2.0 and I’m gonna to install that today on top of this add so now I’ll have a full on scuff basically, I’m sure it’s going to be hard to do all of this especially since they’re no YouTube videos on it but I’m going for it, wish me luck extremerate cause you guys really have to make a video on paddles with the clicky buttons cause I’m not the only one trying to figure this out ... show more

All works awesome except, I had to modify the inserts for the triggers as they were too large and would fully depress the tactile switch when installed. This made the triggers stiff with no click. A bit of sanding on the contact face of the insert resolved the issue. Everything is clicking as intended. Tip check the clickyness of all the switches before installing. If they all click good! When installed if you find certain buttons don't click then you know that insert will need to be modified. Mine came with extra inserts which is a plus, just in case you fudge something up. ... show more

Too long/Didn't read: Great when it works, however it's poorly made and breaks very easily, support from the company was horrid, a complete waste of time and money. When it works, it feels great. Sadly, mine didn't want to. I've disassembled my controller many times before for cleaning, I've built computers, etc. So I definitely wasn't at fault for the failures of this product. Upon installation everything worked fine except for down on the d-pad, which I fixed temporarily with a thorough cleaning of the switch with isopropyl alcohol. Then it worked fine for a bit, before it started again. It went from everything from the down on the d-pad breaking again, to up on the d-pad, all the way to the circle button being broken too. I left a review on the facebook page of the company and I was asked for my order number, I explained I ordered here on Amazon and not from their website, and got no reply afterwards. Additionally, their tutorial video was lackluster at best, skipping some steps and being incredibly unclear with others, requiring the use of tools they acted as if were included with the kit, but were not. Anyways, don't buy this, instead just shell out the extra cash and get your controller modded by professionals that don't make or make use of bad products. ... show more

First one came and my L1 had no input everything else worked just fine sounded great and felt even better, but no input to game so kinda sucked, after texting with EXR, they sent another in 5 days and i couldn’t have asked for better, would buy another and another, easy install took a total of 10 Mins the second time, but totally worth it and customer service was unbelievably amazing, thank you again and hope anyone who wants one gets one. ... show more

Overall, the product does what it supposed to do, but there are major design flaws that can be fixed. After the install I was left with mushy feeling buttons for L2 & R2. The first time playing with the Clicky Triggers broke (R2) within 4 hours of use. I took it apart to troubleshoot, and I noticed on the ribbon cable that the R2 button switch was completely destroyed and flattened (note photos). I notified Extremerate, and they shipped out the replacement very quickly. Now the cause... After disabling the haptic feedback motors (optional) and setting the gear position as instructed from Extremerate to reassemble everything. It leaves way too much play in between the L2, R2 buttons, and the point of contact with the switches on the ribbon cables. Now the trigger stops that connect to the haptic gears inside get pushed back in which causes the L2, R2 buttons to press too hard on the switches in which they get destroyed in a matter of time. What I did to solve the issue was to fuse the haptic gears permanently after I received the replacement ribbon cable. I set the gear position exactly as Extremerate instructed which is a very important step for reassembly. I placed some Super Glue to hold the gear position and allowed it to completely dry. I then used a soldering iron with a flat soldering tip to fuse both gears together (note photo). I tested everything, and it turned out to be a perfect success. Mushy buttons went bye-bye, and the L2, R2 buttons now have much reduced travel in between presses, and can feel the triggers actually stopping. My recommendation to Extremerate is to release some kind of gear stop device for the haptic gears, because your current setup instruction does not work for stopping the L2, R2 trigger buttons causing damage to the ribbon cable switches, or you can create another trigger stop that can plug into the two unused open sqaure holes on the back of the L2 & R2 buttons preventing over pressing (BDM-010). ... show more
