This one gives way more volume than the white/peach-colored tube of Honest mascara. The other one has a thin wand and the mascara just seems gooped on there and hard to transfer to lashes. I wanted to try this mascara since it’s a truly “clean” product and I’m trying to make small swaps here and there to get my cosmetics as clean and non-toxic as possible. The brushes are good on both the primer and the mascara, so applying it was fine. However, the formula just seems a bit dry to me. I had seen a few reviews mentioning a wet clumping, which seemed to be a flaw in the inner “scraper” falling off, so I thought I would give this a try. Of course I want a mascara that isn’t going to run off my face all day, but I do prefer a “wetter” formula for the application. Unfortunately this seemed a bit on the dry side from the first use. It seemed (to me) more like a mascara that’s been open for a couple months. The mascara did its job - it gave some volume and a slight bit of length, but not much. I’m going to continue my quest for the perfect clean mascara, and I’ll continue using this ‘til it’s gone or dries up completely, but I can’t say I would recommend it, and I won’t be purchasing again. ... show more

Not sure if I just got a bad one or what.. but it was awful. The brushes would barely apply the product at all. Primer did nothing for my lashes and the other wand barely applied any product. Formula was very dry.

I wanted a "healthier" mascara & tried this one. One end has a blue primer that seemed a bit dried-out but in any case, there is not much of it, compared to the tube of mascara itself. The other end has a nice brush but the wand isn't long enough for me. Maybe the mascara is OK but I won't buy it again. ... show more
