Size for my pupper is good, but I wish the sides were firmer. He has a habit of putting his paws at the top of the sides and it kind of worries me that he's able to push them out a bit. I had purchased this product 2 years ago and it has worked very well for my dog. He is a 18lbs chihuahua mix that has a long profile (like a weenie dog) which makes things challenging at times. This car seat has been a real game changer as he no longer has any interest to wonder around while driving and you can tell that he feels secure as he quickly lays down to fall asleep. In the 2 years I had it, the side walls remained pretty sturdy even when he tried to stand on the sides - yes it curved but it never buckled. Had my car not have been broken into, and glass shattered into the dog seat, I would still be using the same one from years ago. I would not recommend this product. It’s really flimsy and not great quality. I used it 3 times maybe but only when she was super small. I’m talking like 5 pounds. I also put a bed in there for some comfort. Otherwise, it is easy to setup and carry around.

I had tried other products that were much more expensive but this one is the winner. Very sturdy, well-designed and the perfect size. Many strips to buckle it around the car seat, so that it doesn’t move. My 20lbs Boston Terrier feels cozy, safe and doesn’t feel car sick anymore.

It’s easy to install and remove, which is good because we switch cars sometimes. Adjustable strap allows you too lengthen so dog doesn’t have to sit all the time. We wrap the bottom with a pad to protect the bottom of the car seat just in case she has an accident.
