I searched Amazon extensively to find the right ramp for my 13 year old Redbone Coonhound who was no longer able to jump down on her front legs. The ramp arrived on time and perfectly packaged. It is already assembled so the set up was extremely easy. It has weight to it - which is good because the dog needs to feel stable - and there is a nice leather handle that makes it easy to carry. The covering on the ramp has good grip to it and little ridges to make it easy to climb. The height is adjustable which is nice to train a dog to use it as well as using it with different furniture heights. After trying for several days to get my dog to use the ramp, and a LOT of treats, she still refused to use it. I wasn’t surprised because she doesn’t like stairs and is kind of skiddish. But we tried and I’m confident she would have felt stable on it even at 65 pounds. I ended up returning the ramp and the seller was really great to work with on every part of the transaction! If you’re looking at other ramos, consider this one. There aren’t any folds or creases and the wood is very thick and stable. Highly recommend! ... show more

This is a great dog ramp for my 6lb Teacup Yorkshire Terrier who loves to jump up and down from the couch/bed. I wanted to buy this ramp to help with her accessibility and to prevent health concerns found in small dogs with their back and joints. I got the Medium length so it’s not so steep an incline for my bed and I think it’s perfect! I have tried different kinds of stairs for my chihuahua to get up on my bed which is 52” off the ground but he would never use them I felt like I was out of options so I thought I’d try one more thing. When I set it up he used it the first night (up and down) it’s very sturdy, the carpet and notches makes him fell secure enough the he's not going to slide back and wide enough that he’s not going to fall off the sides. so one of my doggies hurt her back and during her healing process, we got some ramps to put around for her. we got a shorter one that folded up and then this one which i wish folded up but i would assume that may make it a little less stable since its pretty long.. we started with this larger one and as she got a little better, switched to this smaller size. she is all healed up but we keep the smaller ramp up since all three of my dogs use it all day long to get in and out of the front window to bark at every thing imaginable. no issues with grip. and my oldest dog is almost completely blind and she gets in and out, up and down just fine, no issues at all. i feel like this was a life saver being able to give our dog a little freedom while healing. i can see this also coming in handy getting in and out of a car or suv for older bigger dogs. it just doesn't fold in half though so keep that in mind if traveling with it. ... show more

I bought this to keep my small dog from injuring herself jumping on and off my new, much higher mattress. It was easy to set up and the highest setting reached the top of the mattress but it was too steep and she was terrified. Finally I brought it into another room, started with it completely flat and worked our way up. I moved it back to the foot of the bed and set it up below the bed level. With treats, she can go up and down properly, however she just uses it as a jumping off spot on the way up. She jumps off the bed to about the halfway point and usually runs down the ramp the rest of the way. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. What can I say. It’s built cheaply. It’s wobbly when my dog walks on it. It’s not 30”. All around a giant scam. They took a couple piece of wood, screwed them together, and sell it for $80. Don’t waste your money. Also, the top is slippery and the staples are present. CHEAP!
