    • Pump failure
Pump lasted about a month and a half. Put in on a 49 ford that I drove maybe three or four times in that month and it quit working. Can’t seem to find a pump to last any length of time.

    • beast of a pump
I am using this little brute to move used motor oil around a series of settling tanks and filters to condition it for combustion. This thing is managing the duty quite well. It isn't as loud as others I have used and stays reasonably cool during extended use. It has been able to lift oil 5' vertically without issue. The pump is well made and includes enough fittings to get you started. Depending on what your application is, you may or may not need more fittings. The cost of the unit is slightly less than average for pumps of similar size and capacity. It has pumped enough oil for me, that I can say it justifies it's price tag and recommend it's purchase. The pump is heavy and is comparable to much more expensive units, perhaps a little cheaper on the build quality though. I'm using this on an auxiliary tank to pump gas into the main taink on long trips. It seems to work well so far and I'm happy with it. Time will tell if it will last as long as a name brand, but it fits my needs. ... show more

Not too much to say about this external fuel pump but it looks very decent quality and very similar to one of my other fuel pumps that I got on Amazon here. Seems to be built very well and it comes with a couple different fittings there to get you hooked up but it's very simple. You literally strap this thing below your gas tank somewhere run your fuel lines up to your sending unit and run the other side up to whatever you're hooking it up to. There's literally only two power hookups and you're positive and your negative. You're smaller connections and negative and then you're bigger one's going to be positive. The same claims to do 340 l at 40 PSI and 300 l at 70 PSI but I haven't been able to test that but it seems to do a fine job. Overall for the price point paid I think this thing is well worth it and I myself like the external pumps just because they're super easy to change out and I'm mechanic so I like things that tend to go out over time to be easily replaced. 100% recommend ... show more

    • Good throw down fuel pump. Fittings are less than spectacular though
I needed a good cheap external fuel pump to use on my C4 Corvette before I spent a lot of money on a name brand. This fit the bill and already came with AN fittings. The pump came with metric thread adapters already installed, and metric to AN fittings in the kit The crush washer between the pump and already installed thread adapter was leaking, I had to pull it and install a new crush washer. I have not had the opportunity to really test the pump. I have connected it and found that evidently the chinese do not know that in america, red means power or hot wire. I am an electrician and it took me awhile to realie the reason the pump would not pump gas was it was running backwards. On this pump the blue connection is power and red is ground. I will rate the pump once i use it under real load UPDATE: After installing and trying to use this pump I found that it will not produce more than 30# of fuel pressure. The description says it will produce up to 75 #, that is false. I need at least 40 # to operate my boat. This is not a good pump. Buy american and get what you pay for. ... show more

    • Using it for a fuel station pump, it moves a bunch of fuel for an inline pump!
I needed a small pump to transfer fuel from a tank to fill small equipment and this works great! It doesn't move the volume of fuel like a large tank transfer pump because its not made to do that but I'm sure it would feed just about any big block out there or any custom fuel system your making!
