I am very pleased with this set. Pros: Each utensil has a good weight, is a nice warm wood tone and appealing shape. -my favorite are the flatter tools in the set for breaking up ground meat, scraping pans, flipping things and serving things like eggs onto a plate -they look great, so order these if you are gifting them to someone! They have that "granola" homesteading natural provincial countryside cottage or even modern natural asthetic. -they look great styled on a countertop in the provided box -would also look good out on open kitchen shelving or a bakers rack, cupboard sideboard or hutch near the kitchen Cons: -the utensils with holes in the are rough on the edges, meaning they didn't fully finish the pieces like a high end wood kitchen utensil might be finished -so because of the rough edges at the sites of the drainage holes on some of the spoons, I would recommend a gentle sanding, soapy wash, through dry and then oil them with food grade cutting board oil and let that soak in and then wash, rinse, dry. -It's not a deal breaker, but just separates them from looking and functioning more high-end. But you can change that by smoothing the wood and sealing with an oil to make them last longer. ... show more

    • Nice aesthetic set, not sure how they'd hold up to regular wear
I got these for my boyfriend's new apartment as we're trying to decorate and keep it as aesthetically pleasing as possible. This set comes with a nice variety of kitchen tools, including a dumpling draining spoon, a pasta claw and a couple of spatulas that are great for stir fry. My concern is how well they'll hold up to higher heat. I imagine the wood will eventually dry out and not look nearly as nice over time. There also appears to be some sort of finish on the wood, which I really hope is entirely food safe at high temperatures. The wood itself is great quality but it did have a bit of a smell out of the box, which I'm not sure was the wood or the finish. Either way, we're going to see how it goes. They definitely look beautiful on the counter, and if you're looking for a decorative, aesthetic set of cooking tools, this is a good bet. ... show more

I really like these. I was surprised at how very light they were but very sturdy and thick!! So far mine have cleaned up easily... I've only used a couple times and hand clean them right away. I love the colors of mine. Some dark, some a little lighter, some streaks and mixed. I love that. They are comfortable in my hands. These are an excellent value in my opinion and I do recommend them. The quality is really nice and they're lightweight and are fun to use while cooking. The variety of utensils is a bonus and I especially like that a holder was included with them. They look really nice on the counter even if you don't use them! Handwashing them is recommended and they clean easily. I like the quality a lot!! ... show more

This is a really good wooden utensils kit. It's very well made, splinterless, odorless, tasteless. It's made of great quality wood and is sealed well. It's a really good kit, just not perfect in my opinion. To be perfect, each of the utensils need to be 2-3" longer; they're rather stubby. 4 stars!

This wooden spoon collection looks absolutely gorgeous. They are extremely durable and very sturdy. They are the perfect size and they're easy to clean. Excellent product and an awesome value!

Although there is a temp limit listed, temps much lower boiled the varnish off almost. Now, many of the utensils are sticky with oil-based poly of some sort. They're now just for show.

This is a very nice set of acacia wood spoons and spatulas. You get a great assortment for most common cooking utensils. These are geared towards cooking, not serving. Most of these aren't overly deep, so keep that in mind. These all arrived free from defects and in great shape. These also come with a matching wood container which is nice.
