These lattices have a nice aesthetic about them, but they’re not of the strongest construction. I was hoping to grow some green beans on these, but there is a lot of ashy residue from the wood burning process. I feel reluctant to use these for food, but I’m going to try them out growing some sweet pea and Spanish flag (lightweight vining flowers) and I’ll update during the growing season when I know how well they’re holding up to weather. ... show more

This little expandable wooden trellis is a nice little product. Made from wood and stained to color, it's a nice little addition to our small garden. We haven't had a chance to install these yet (it's still winter), but we have taken them out of the package and tested them out a little bit. We recently moved, and the new place doesn't have any gardening done, so we're starting over from scratch with it. My wife wanted some trellises for some of her flowers and some for growing beans, and these will do just fine. These are lightweight, which is nice, and they seem relatively durable. I mean, you wouldn't want to be rough with them, as they won't stand up to abuse, but for having flowers and plants slowly and gradually growing up the length of them, they will stand up just fine. The darker stain they have is nice as well, as it goes with the aesthetic we will try to have with our gardening. ... show more

High quality wood trellis. Strong and capable of holding up vining plants, or to attach to a wall as a decoration. I am using one for a vining plant in a pot on my deck, and the other one as a fence to block my elderly dog from going down the deck steps. Easy to spread out and then remove when not needed and matches my deck. Really happy with the trellis and glad that it can have multiple uses. I am always trying new things in my garden and thought these would be a nice addition. I love that this is adjustable and you can use it horizontally and vertically. I needed something to keep the dog out of the new rosemary plants I'm growing as a hedge, and this works great. Once the hedge grows up more it will be easy to remove it and find another spot for it. The media could not be loaded. I have many wood trellis in the past. For this one, you better off keeping it indoor. I doubt that it will last more than a years out in the summer heat, sun and rain. Perhaps two the most. Just my opinion and experiences. Thank you for dropping by.
