The shield is anti fog and scratch treated featuring 95% protection from UV-A and UV-B. Patent pending Neodymium magnetic shield mechanism replaces detents with fluid shield movement. They're secured with brass finished hex bolt (M3 hex key included). Security The EXO-HX1 uses Double D-Rings for a secure fit. This helmet fits me about as well as they can I suppose. My head is 57cm around and intermediate oval shaped and I get no pressure points. Visibility and ventilation are also good, though I don't much care for having to reach inside the helmet under the chin skirt to close the front vent. The looks are nice and the helmet can be converted to a dirt bike helmet with the included visor if one wishes to install it. No Pinlock support that i'm aware of, but the shield is treated to resist fogging. ... show more

    • Awesome helmet!
This helmet is awesome. I love how I look every time I use it. The inner lining is very soft and comfortable. The little flap that keeps air from coming up by your mouth is a bit annoying if you need to scratch your chin or anything like that. Overall, a great helmet for the price.

It looks smaller in the pictures. I think having 3 shell sizes would have helped. this isn't really a complaint though, I have about 59cm head and the large fits well. Comfy around the head and the helmet covers the jaw/chin area well. The way the visor works is cool and when you have it cracked open at its lowest setting, the "shape" of the helmet stays the same, but you get a lot of air flow. It doesnt look open from the outside, basically. The plastic of the visor seems clearer than my other (cheaper) helmet. I also bought the silver visor which gives a nice shade but is really clear as well. Speaker pockets work great. I think I'd buy it again. The materials inside and out feel good for the price range. Although I initially wanted a modular helmet, something like this feels safer to me. ... show more
