The media could not be loaded. I'll start with what I liked. This feels like a solidly built tool. It has a nice carrying case. I cranked the scissor-jacks on my camper up and down with ease after switching it to its medium torque setting. What I don't like: this is Yet Another generic, low-budget tool with a seemingly random company name stamped on it. There is no company website, no support email or phone number to be found anywhere. If something breaks, that's tough luck. There's no warranty. The manual is a complete rip-off - evidenced by the following paragraph: "Use of non-genuine Makita batteries, or batteries that have been altered, may result in the battery bursting causing fires, personal injury and damage. It will also void the Makita warranty for the Makita tool and charger." When last I checked, this wasn't a Makita battery or a Makita tool. Also, Makita doesn't offer a 20V line of batteries or tools. I don't know what's going on here, but it isn't kosher. Finally, the serial number on the tool exactly matches the serial number on the battery. Coincidence? Well, it's also the exact same "reference" number that's been printed on the cardboard box it shipped in. I should also point out this is the 2nd unit I received. The first unit had a defective battery charger - the top bracket that the battery slides into was not fastened to the charger body. It didn't break, it was never screwed into the body to begin with. It was hanging loose in the case. Since there is no company contact, I had to contact Amazon for a replacement. My advice: don't buy this. Take your money and invest in a quality, name-brand tool instead. ... show more

For whatever reason, there are a plethora of 1/2 inch cordless impact wrenches currently available from Amazon, most at good prices from unfamiliar and unproven brands. The Excited Work (who comes up with these names?) is one of them, falling toward the center of the pack in power and accessories. For it's medium power, it is neither compact nor well balanced like the comparably powerful SEYVUM, nor does it match the heavy but decently balanced and very powerful (700 ft lbs) EWorks. It has some basic lug nut- sized impact sockets, but it lacks the range of accessories that the otherwise unimpressive Heywork (another ridiculous name) impact does. What it does have is a relatively uncommon hard sided plastic case that fits the wrench, battery, charger and four impact sockets. For some, who wish to keep the impact with their vehicle, that case alone may be a deciding factor. It's a good case, and a fair alternative to the soft sided fabric cases that many impact wrenches come with. Of course, if you will have your wrench secured to the wall of your garage/shop, near its plugged in charger, a case of any sorts is superfluous. Some have remarked at being impressed with the weight of this unit, assuming that represents power and durability. That is not necessarily so, for this or any other impact. In use, weight is more often your enemy, than your friend, it interferes with maneuverability, and contributes to fatigue. In the world of pneumatic impact wrenches, more expensive models are lighter models, using costly metals to bring down the weight. I suspect the same applies with the "Excited Work" model. A lot of that weight that seems impressive, is actually the use of cheaper, and heavier metals for housings, chucks, etc. Compared to my 4 other cordless 1/2" impacts, and similar number of pneumatics, I don't find this unit standing out in any particular area of performance or feature, except for the hard sided plastic case. However, it doesn't do poorly in any particular area either--so if that case makes it just right for carrying around with you--that's a fair reason to choose this model; but if power, or balance, or overall weight, or durability are of primary importance, I'd suggest you at least consider the merits of others. In the end, having any of these wrenches, including this model, will surprise most of you in their utility and noticeable reduction in wear and tear on an (older) person's body. ... show more

    • The Wrench Feels Solid, Not Sure About the Company
I second the concerns of the other reviewer here who mentioned the strange copy-paste approach that seems to have been taken with the instruction book. Why are the instructions telling me to use Makita batteries only when this does not include a Makita battery? My general sense is that there's something fishy with the company that made this. However, taken on its own this seems to be a great impact wrench. Incredibly solid and powerful, great at removing lug nuts quickly, and on its own merits this seems like a great impact wrench. I would not assume you'll get much in the way of customer service from this company, if their instruction book is any indication, though. ... show more

Just used this impact for the first time this morning. Over all it does the job. It appears to be made from quality materials and does the job. However it does seem to be a knock-off. It is a very high quality tool. I will update as needed.
