Usually speakers this small do not sound good. I own 3 bluetooth speakers of varying sizes bought over 9 years. The EWA speaker sounds very good for its tiny size. It has decent bass and hits the mid-range and high notes with great clarity. This thing is small enough to easily fit in my pocket, purse, beach bag or even in the cupholder in a car. You can feel the little speaker pulsing with the beats. While something this tiny will never have as much deep bass as much larger, dual speaker cone models, this is a winner for size and ease of use. It appears to be well-made, came very nicely packaged with a short usb-c charging cable (same as my phone so very convenient on the go) and it's really simple to use - just one button does it all and since that button lights up - it's really easy to use at night. My other small bluetooth speaker has tiny buttons you can't see in the dark and are hard to touch because they are under the housing a bit. The weight of this EWA speaker makes it feel like a quality device. Pairing was quick and easy with my Galaxy S21+. The travel case and ring that came packaged with it are really nice to have so you can clip this to a backpack, bike, your beltloop or hang it on a tree, beach umbrella or whatever. All-around impressive little speaker for the price and size. I purchased this for use on vacation so I was looking for something that was waterproof and small enough to pack in my electronics gear case with my cords and chargers. Bonus bit of info - if you have a USB-C to USB-C phone cable, you can charge this little speaker right from your phone for extended play time. You can also play it while it's connected by USB to your phone for charging. Playback only works if the speaker has some charge on it first - if it's totally dead, allow about 15 minutes of charging to happen before playing to it while charging with your phone. The speaker has a 700 mAh battery so it only takes about 2 hours to charge from zero, but if playing while it's charging that charge time will be a bit longer - in my test it took 2.5 hours to charge while being used. ... show more

I bought this back in 2020 and had to come back in 2024 to write this review. Mine is STILL GOING STRONG despite being exposed to water, dropped a million times, crossed borders, and used nearly every single day since I got it. 4 years later, the little grate has fallen off and the battery life is waning... but I have ABUSED this thing and it's so old I'm shocked it's still working. I originally got it so I could listen to music in the shower, but it has turned out to be a wonderful buddy when I'm walking around my house listening to audiobooks or music. It's small enough to put in my pocket if I wanna carry it around. And the sound quality is surprisingly good for such a little unit. It's not some incredible sound performance, but for a device that's less than 20 dollars and so small, it's more than worth the pricetag, which is a pleasant surprise for electronics these days. This 'portable' tiny speaker seems to be well-made. It pairs with iPhone seamlessly and the sound quality is by far better than the iPhone speaker, but we don't have the latest iPhone though. We are not fan of earbuds so this is a good alternative. The portability is questionable though. The speaker to be so small is heavy, yet we hope that is indicative the materials used are durable. But we were hoping to use it when we travel abroad, but traveling light is a key so it would not work for that. Still great buy for the price, good sound quality to be so small. Reasonably priced. This speaker throws some good sound. I’d say it rivals Bose. I have both. This is easy to pack and the carrying case and carabiner clip are a nice addition. Makes it easy to clip anywhere. We’ve used outdoors in our backyard, for movie nights with a projector, and for general listening in the house. Son loves to take it out and clip it on the trampoline while he jumps. Has held up well. Planning to use it more regularly when we get our hot tub this week! Have purchased four and given three as gifts! Everyone has loved it! Great for families, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, camping, outdoors, while cleaning, etc. small profile do can basically be taken anywhere. Its small and easy to toss into my pool bag. The battery life is absurdly long....will outlast my phone that Im streaming from. Bonus that its water proof and affordable. Its no giant boom box but it sounds great for just chilling poolside or on the patio. Manages to have some depth to the sound and not so twingy like some other small speakers Ive had.
