My dog tried this over the summer and now it's the only brand she eats venison is her favorite but she will tolerate chicken it is expensive and as a single mom with other pets to feed it does put me in a bind however it's worth it cause it doesn't make her itch or her skin turn red. It has improved her quality of life her energy and her hair growth even. She's like a puppy again and looks forward to meal time. She was abusive before I got her so I try to give her the best life possible unfortunately she doesn't have many teeth and this pate is easy for her to eat even the kibble when mixed with the pate. When the juice surrounding the meat is running it is fresh. If not, it is a solid jell which does not dissolve even in hot water ...not good!

I have a very picky cat. Every time I find a cat food she likes, I can’t seem to find it in stock anywhere again. I’ve wasted a ton of money trying different foods for her. This is not her favorite, but at least she will eat it. I’ll bet it’s out of stock the next time I need to buy it.

My miniature poodle is a picky eater. He won't eat just kibble. I had tried several small dog brands before finding Evolve. I give him a half can of Evolve warmed 15 seconds in microwave, mash with fork, and put his kibble on top of it. The smell and taste entice him to eat. Evolve seems to have a little more fat and juice in it than others. The subscribe and save with Amazon saves me a few dollars over the grocery store price. So far, by alternating between chicken, turkey, and salmon flavors, he hasn't gotten tired of Evolve. I've been feeding it for about 3 months. I use Victor for his kibble. ... show more

This food is expensive, about $20 for a pack of 12. It is very firm, sort of like a small can of tuna. My dog is a VERY finicky eater (my fault), but she does eat it from time to time. She is a 30 lb. Boston/French bulldog, but I’m still looking for a food (besides steak) that she’ll eat regularly.
