  • Perfect for my 2016 JKU Wrangler
I was getting the common code that signifies either a bad thermostat or temperature sensor. I started with the thermostat, it went on easy and worked perfectly. The code disappeared. I bought a special funnel on Amazon to help bleed all the air out of the coolant system when I finished. That worked perfect as well and I had no issues with overheating or anything. These people who think you have to buy Mopar/Jeep thermostats are crazy it’s all in how you install it. First I pulled the Jeep front tires up onto some 2 x 12 wood blocks and I raised the front end 3 inches, that helps keep air out of the system and helps it rise to the top it will bleed out better. Remember to check to remove the old gasket that is from the original thermostat. Mine was stuck on the block. ... show more

  • Cheaper and better quality than OEM replacement
Jeep kept showing a "Check Engine" light Looked up code with a code reader, this was the problem. MUCH cheaper than the OEM replacement. Fiat/Chrysler would charge nearly three times as much, just for the part. Super easily install. Don't go to the dealer and have them replace yours!!!!!

  • Works perfectly!
Just as described. Opens at correct temperature. Maintains proper temperature range while at all speeds and with a/c operating. I have installed 3 different brands of thermostats, over the last 3 years, and this is the only one that has delivered OEM results.

  • Do it yourself and save big.
I had a quote from several auto repair shops and quoted me around $300 to do a thermostat replacement. Omgoodness, I looked on Youtube and found out it was fairly easy to do myself. All step by step. I did it with just the basic home tools I had. Because it was my first time and nervous it took about 40 minutes but I bet if I ever did it again it would be 15. So many things you can do and save that are not that difficult on Youtube. A retired female empty nester. ... show more
