We purchased this hammock recently and were pleasantly surprised with how quickly it went together. My 6 year old son and I had it together in 20 mins. It is sufficiently sturdy for the price and I foresee it lasting quite a few seasons outdoors. I’ve always loved hammocks and it’s so convenient to have one with a stand that can be moved anywhere and not to have to rely on having two trees to support it between. The materials seem durable and the stitching is fairly good considering the price. The legs are wide enough that it feels stable when getting in/out and relaxing in the hammock. This hammock is great for the price. The stand is sturdy and is easy to put up and take down. The storage/carry bag is a big bonus, and the actual hammock is very comfy to lie in. I would definitely recommend.

This is my second Hammock with stand, and my 2 cents: What I liked: - Hammock quality - cotton, sturdy hangers (reinforced with metal), and the wood spacer is a nice touch. - Stand quality - sturdy screws and hangers. - extremely easy to assemble. - extra pieces for repair if needed - it came with 2 extra screws What can be better: - the stand coat had some scratches, which is easy to fix with a bit of spray paint, that I had easily. - the screw that holds the hammock was a bit too long and keeps scratching the hammock - which can easily be cut. ... show more

Great for the price! I was looking for one that was a little bigger than the standard size, with cute tassels (and cheap)! Two smaller people might be able to fit in it long ways. My boyfriend and I sat in it the short way and it's seems very sturdy and well made.
