I’ve asked my husband to stop using several other colognes because they were so strong they bothered my nose and eyes. Even a small amount would bother me. I even tried making cologne for him. It smelled good and didn’t bother me but the scent wore off fast. It was sort of a pain to make and the price of the ingredients weren’t a lot cheaper. He was given this cologne as a Christmas gift and it ended up also being a gift for me. Loved the scent and no irritation of my nose or eyes. I bought the Cedarwood scented cologne on accident. I was looking for the Sandalwood scent. I went ahead and kept it. Smelling it from the bottle and initially after application it smells kind of like soap. Given a few minutes it smells really clean, and , well... good. I wanted to take a bath in it. Smelled like pure alcohol for the longest time. Finally you smell a faint trace of something but it goes away 15-30 minutes. Unable to return to Amazon because of alcohol. I did get the sandlewood and it has the Alcohol smell at first but only lasted few minutes and then the sandlewood smell kicked in. It’s not a strong scent but I can still smell it after 6 hours. Maybe got a bad bottle of the cedarwood asking every man jack to see what they can do. Update: every man jack sending replacement. Also, sandlewood is great scent and lasts long time. Upgraded from one star to 3 for now, since sandlewood so good and getting replacement on cedar wood. ... show more
