    • LUV it - but it chatters! IMPORTANT UPDATE: the chatter is now FIXED!!!
The install was pretty straight forward. I had to do some finagling to do it all be myself, but a pair of quick-grips did the trick! So it is all installed...I turn on the power....push the fan button...and i get a inconsistent "chatter" of metal. I believe it is due to the buttterfly damper kinda flailing about. Other than the fan, the damper is the only other moving part - but it is enclosed within the unit and the exhaust stack so there is no way to verify that doesn't involve completely un-installing the unit. Other than that - it looks quite sharp, the suction power and fan noise are good (not excellent), and the lighting is exactly what was needed! All-in-all, a good value buy! UPDATE! The chatter is fixed!! The "chatter" was NOT the damper! It was the grease grates!! I was on the verge of uninstalling the whole thing...and I just happened to reach down for a tool, and from the corner of my eye I could see the right grease grate jiggling up and down - just enough to make the "chatter" noise. I removed the grate and ever so slightly bent the back edge by a tiny smudgeon - a very long smooth arc sp that the back corners would 'wedge' a bit against the top frame. I put the grate back in - and no more chattering !!! Took the left grate out and repeated the ever so slight bend just to be sure. Put everything back together and tested on all three speeds - and not one time did it chatter anymore. YIPPEE!!! ... show more

Got this to replace an oversized microwave that was against code (cabinets don’t have clearance for an over the range micro). Delivery was very fast and it does a decent job. Only issue is that there was a small dent in the edge of the hood and I have no idea how to get it out. It was installed before the dent was noticed, but I see it every day. ... show more

    • Solid, efficient and stylish.
What I most liked about the stove hood was the simplicity (no connection to a phone app) ,good quality, and preforms what it was designed to do very well. It was very easy to install (suggest to have a second set of hands to hold in place when securing). The unit is equipped to utilize either a round or rectangle exhaust vent. The unit must be vented. The fan and light controls are easy to use and blend in nicely with the stainless steel hood. The hood has nice rounded corners (if you are tall you will appreciated not heading your head on a sharp corner of stainless steel). The fan is quiet, even on the high setting and works well. There are two LED lights on the front corners of the hood and provide nice clean light. The filters (2) are easy to remove to clean. The overall appearance is subtle and blends well with the cabinetry. Very pleased with the purchase. ... show more

This range hood is very well made. The stainless steel is good quality and all the futures work as expected. The fan is strong enough for most peoples home use. If you want a really, really strong suction, then you need to move up to a stronger model.

I am surprised at how loud this fan is even on its lowest setting. I specifically looked for fans that were quiet, as my last one was loud as well. Very disappointed in that aspect. The fan itself is attractive; I like the rounded edges. It looks good in my kitchen and it functions well. The media could not be loaded. Great fan it was easy to install a straightforward install. I like the fact that you don’t have filters to buy it was a pain looking for filters for the last one I had . You can wash it’s reusable filter. Looks great professional looking. I just the amount of power I was looking for. The video shows steam from the front burner, but if it was underneath the back burner, it would take it all. I did have to add a outlet, to plug it in, in the cabinet above, it doesn’t come with splice wires. It comes with a three prong plug. Luckily, my buddy added it with no problem . ... show more

    • A Big Improvement for Our Kitchen
It looks good and works like it should. It was a bear to install because the vent pipe to the roof did not line up with the exhaust nozzle of this fan unit. The LED lights are great and make our cooktop lots brighter than before.
