The sound produced is great for an instrument made solely from plastic. Kids love it. The only issue is that the cleaning stick broke right away (kid used it is as a drum stick). Be aware, it is loud, it sounds like it has a build in amp. With that said, if you have friends with kids that you don't like that much, get them this as a gift. My little 2 year old's fingers are too small to cover all of the wholes but she still LOVES playing the instrument. The one note over and over again drives us crazy but her enjoyment makes up for it. The color is a see through highlighter pink. She loves the color. I thought the see through was great because we can see if it's dirty inside or not but see through means you can see all of the spit in it anytime she plays it. Kinda gross to see. ^_^ ... show more
