Assembling my old tree this year a branch snapped clean off, and then the lights kept switching themselves off. I'd had this pre-lit tree on my wish list for years, and since it was 30% off, I saw it as a sign to upgrade. I am so, so glad I did. This thing is a full foot and a half taller than my old one, and it needed no fluffing after assembly. It was a lot heavier than my old one and it took me a bit to realize how to align the arrows so the lights connected properly, but wow it looks great. Full and thick with really impressive branches, and the lights are so bright. The Twinkly app was easy to install and connect to the tree, and then I had access to all the patterns available there (and can even make my own if I want). I wish I lived in a bigger place so I could leave it up all year round, but I'll have to settle for the once a year celebration. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is my first ever artificial tree and I have to admit it was a tough choice. Like most, I've enjoyed the ritual of going and getting a tree, the smell of fresh pine, and having the feels over a good pick at the tree lot. This year was different. I'm an empty nester now and it didn't feel the same getting a tree by myself, plus though I love the smell of pine through out the house, I hate the clean up after. So this year I decided to get an artificial tree and I'm really pleased with this purchase! Pros - Easy setup, the lights are already integrated into the tree so you don't have to worry about cords and placement and there are a lot of lights! Light patterns are controlled through presets on the connected box or a phone app and are extremely customizable (no literally, I can draw what patterns I want on the tree and how they are animated on my phone, it's brilliant), Scheduling when you want the lights to come on and off through the app and even which patterns at what time. Looks Great! Oh and of course, no watering needed! Cons - Not really a con but worth noting, heavier than I thought it would be. I wish it had a plug at the top to connect a light up topping like a star on the tree. You can easily run an extension cord up the middle and do it that way, but you really shouldn't need to. Not a deal breaker but something to think about before you bust out the tree topping that you have used for years that would normally plug into the lights. Overall a great purchase especially since it's just me now and I look forward to using it next year. ... show more

    • Easy setup, sturdy tree and amazing lights.
From unboxing to setup you can have the tree with lights on in less than 5 minutes. It takes a little time to fluff the branches if you want the "perfect" tree but that is with all trees. The Twinkly addition gives the tree an additional pop that is just amazing. I'll update the post after a few uses and see how it holds up. ... show more

Overall I really like this tree. Lasted the 24/7 2023 season (Dec 10 - Jan 2) and I will come back to update my review if this doesn't last it's worth which I expect at least 4 years. Looks wise this tree is pretty nice for an artificial although I have seen much better when it comes to realism at advertised price so I give this a "B" on naked looks. It is fairly full and doesn't come with any of those filler branches I'm accustomed to getting with other fake trees. It really didn't need them as the lights distract/fill the voids but a few would have been nice. The amount of lights is great and the setup was fairly easy with the Twinkly app. The Twinkly LED lights are very bright for their size and exceptionally colorful. I am hoping to get more LED lights by Twinkly. I didn't mess too much with the customization of the lights only using their preconfigured patterns which look great. Oh, no wires to fumble with as electrical connections between the sections are made as you click the poles together. Now, I wish this the lights didn't use WIFI but it does, so if my phone wasn't on the same network I had issues controlling the lights. Having WIFI issues at home with my ISP doesn't help. The tree disassembled easily and fit back into the original box along with room for a few decorations. Not many think of that but I always had problems with previous artificial trees going back into their box. What would make this tree a solid 5 star? Bluetooth only control options. Maybe I missed it but after initial setup and having ISP issues I had times I couldn't control the lights. I did catch this on sale here on Amazon for just at $325 in November of 2023. Shipping took 10 days to get out of the retailer and to my house. ... show more

    • I really like this tree, and would buy it again!
I have looked at 'twinkly' lights over the last couple years and this year was the year to pull the trigger. Great move! Boughs are soft and well shaped right out of the box, assembly took about 5 minutes. Of course you buy this kind of tree for the lights, and they are stunning. There are lots of videos out there of what they can do, so I won't repeat. Custom programming is easy, though if you want to go crazy, ~400 lights can take a while, each can be individually set! Not a negative but as a word of warning, do the initial set up in a large well lit room if you can. When you scan the tree to allow 3d effects you need to be able to walk around the tree at a distance that will allow the full tree to be in frame with the phone camera. Our livingroom was not quite big enough. It worked but rescanned several times to get great results. If you are on the fence about this, just do it! ... show more
