This tree! Wow! Absolutely the best tree I've ever had in my life. The app is easy to download and use! There are so many color patterns to pick from! You can save your favorites, recently used, edit what's there, make your own color scheme, connect the lights to music, set a timer, connect to other twinkly brand products and set up an entire light display that's synced together! You can control it away from home. Not that you need to. I have done it to scare my family at home while at work. Just to get a giggle about hearing there's a ghost in the house. I could sit all night looking at this tree! The lights are so pretty and so many shades. You can make your own color! I'm so happy with my purchase! I will say I got it on sale! I did not pay full price, that is the one negative I would say about it. I don't think it's worth the price at full cost. I would not had purchased without the sale. It's sturdy! It's a big tree! After decades of buying a real tree and having to lug it into the house, balance it, ensure that water from the tree stand does not ruin the wood floor, and then cut the thing apart and dispose of it at the end of the season, my wife and I decided to buy an artificial tree. We wanted one that looked real and had built-in Twinkly brand lights that I can control from my iPhone. We first looked at the Balsam Hill trees, but the cost for a 7.5 foot tree was astronomical and the reviews were just mediocre. As luck would have it, I found this tree on Amazon and the reviews were outstanding. We took a chance and it sure paid off. The two of us assembled the 3-part tree in less than 10 minutes (we'll be a lot faster next time). Since I'm a Twinkly aficionado, I completed the Twinkly setup via my iphone in another 10 minutes. Voilà! This tree looks amazing and the quality of the materials with the pre-installed Twinkly lights makes this a winner. For the first time in over 40 years of marriage, we have our Christmas tree up before even Halloween. I guess that means the tree will be temporarily decorated with goblins, ghosts, and skeleton ornaments, with the Twinkly lights set to a Halloween theme. This tree is fantastic. The controls are super simple to use. Sometimes the app is glitchy but it fixes itself after an app restart or trying again later. The tree looks great with or without ornaments. We bought the tree last year and actual kept it up year round but without ornaments. The lights can be changed to different patterns and colors. Assembling my old tree this year a branch snapped clean off, and then the lights kept switching themselves off. I'd had this pre-lit tree on my wish list for years, and since it was 30% off, I saw it as a sign to upgrade. I am so, so glad I did. This thing is a full foot and a half taller than my old one, and it needed no fluffing after assembly. It was a lot heavier than my old one and it took me a bit to realize how to align the arrows so the lights connected properly, but wow it looks great. Full and thick with really impressive branches, and the lights are so bright. The Twinkly app was easy to install and connect to the tree, and then I had access to all the patterns available there (and can even make my own if I want). I wish I lived in a bigger place so I could leave it up all year round, but I'll have to settle for the once a year celebration. ... show more

    • Lovely tree but upsettingly short lifespan
I purchased this tree in December of 2023. It was beautiful and I loved the lights and the option to change them. We put it up again for Christmas 2024 and it was again, beautiful. Until I went to take it down in January and noticed that it wasn't turning on anymore. I tried unplugging it, resetting it, but nothing is happening. We used the tree for only 2 Christmases and it's already broken. Extremely disappointing. I have tried contacting the manufacturer but I have not heard anything back. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is my first ever artificial tree and I have to admit it was a tough choice. Like most, I've enjoyed the ritual of going and getting a tree, the smell of fresh pine, and having the feels over a good pick at the tree lot. This year was different. I'm an empty nester now and it didn't feel the same getting a tree by myself, plus though I love the smell of pine through out the house, I hate the clean up after. So this year I decided to get an artificial tree and I'm really pleased with this purchase! Pros - Easy setup, the lights are already integrated into the tree so you don't have to worry about cords and placement and there are a lot of lights! Light patterns are controlled through presets on the connected box or a phone app and are extremely customizable (no literally, I can draw what patterns I want on the tree and how they are animated on my phone, it's brilliant), Scheduling when you want the lights to come on and off through the app and even which patterns at what time. Looks Great! Oh and of course, no watering needed! Cons - Not really a con but worth noting, heavier than I thought it would be. I wish it had a plug at the top to connect a light up topping like a star on the tree. You can easily run an extension cord up the middle and do it that way, but you really shouldn't need to. Not a deal breaker but something to think about before you bust out the tree topping that you have used for years that would normally plug into the lights. Overall a great purchase especially since it's just me now and I look forward to using it next year. ... show more
