Ok, so I just received these earlier this week. Wore them in the office all day today - so other than walking down the lane - I haven't used them outside. I decided to try them because of the price point and the reviews. The non-waterproof description is not unexpected - you're not going to get Gore-tex at this price! So I just did what a lot of people have done & applied a good coat of mink oil. It darkened them up nicely and seemed to absorb it well, so hopefully that will help with keeping the water at bay. We'll see, and I'll post an update after some more use. **UPDATE** So I have had these almost 60 days now & we just had a 12" snow storm. I wore these boots exclusively for a week outside in the snow AND inside the office for 8 hours a day and I have to say I am impressed with them! As stated above, I coated them quite liberally with mink oil since they are not advertised as "waterproof" and I was hoping that would help - and it definitely did! Now - I have not fully immersed them in water, but I have been out in the snow for hours at a time & they have not allowed any moisture in. In the office, they were not uncomfortable to have on all day & since they are newer, they still look presentable! Bottom line, don't be afraid to try them! The price point might make you suspicious, but to me theyy are a great boot at a great price. NOW - I do not make a living doing construction or heavy work all day in a boot. If that is you - and you have had experience with other high-end work boots - then you may have a different opinion and I fully understand that. But for the "weekend warrior" who needs a decent boot at a decent price, these really work for me. ... show more

If these boots can last more than six months, then theyre damn good boots!! Fit perfect!! He says theyre real comfortable. It's been a little more than a month and he hasnt had to reglue a sole or replace a broken shoelace. I'm impressed!!

    • Decent inexpensive boots with a few drawbacks

First off, about $60 doesn't get you a whole lot in terms of leather boots. However, these for around that price do provide a whole lot of boot for the cash...with a few caveats. The leather on them seems to be good quality and will likely hold up unless you absolutely abuse them. The soles aren't bad, but they are not Vibram quality. There is a compromise here, but the traction is decent. The insoles seem plush upon first feel, but unfortunately they aren't the most comfortable. They aren't bad, though. I've had worse. The overall construction of the boot is good. If you took care of them I can see them lasting a while. Dislikes: They are on the heavier side for a boot of this size. What's the point of "speed hooks" on this boot when the top is still a hole that you need to run the lace though afterwards? It's quite possibly the dumbest lacing setup I've seen as inevitably it'll take you longer to tighten and tie than if they just had holes in them all the way up. And since the top of the boot is kind of stiff and difficult to tighten, you might experience rubbing on the back of your heel. One of the boots did this to me and it was unbearable. I think a combination of the weight and the way they are laced led to this. The boots were the correct size, too. Ultimately I ended up returning them. Mostly due to the heel rubbing as I could have put up with the other flaws considering the low price and decent build quality. But if a shoe isn't comfortable there is no price cheap enough to put up with that. Your results may vary. ... show more

These boots fit like a glove. I need a Wide boot and their 9W is exactly what I needed. Easy to break in and very comfortable. Worth every penny,. And pretty warm considering, as I live in Colorado and the temp is 19F today and my feet don't get cold waking in snow from the house to the shop.

These boots are great quality and very comfortable! They are real leather and for this price, you can't beat them. More comfortable than Wolverine boots. I had to order the wide because I have very wide feet, and these fit perfectly. I just put mink oil on mine to condition the leather and help keep them waterproof. They are now a little darker after using the mink oil and they look awesome! I highly recommend these boots! The first Pic is before the mink oil, and the 2nd Pic is after using mink oil. I like the darker color after the mink oil, and also they are most certainly waterproof now! ... show more

Really like the color of these boots. And very comfortable. Read other reviews stating laces wont last but thats a non issue. Lots of laces on shoes/boots these days dont seem to last long especially if they're worn everyday. I also ordered Mink Oil to further protect my investment. Don't plan on wearing everyday but for casual use, like today's early voting. Long lines as you can expect and the cushiony inside soles made it bearable. Got the 12W and accomodates the thick winter socks i had on very comfortably. For the money can't go wrong. Guess time will tell but they appear very sturdy and I would highly recommend. This review coming from a hip 77 year old lol ... show more

I bought my first pair of tan EverBoots back in early 2022. Just about three years ago, and they are still holding up to this day. I’ve only just bought a second pair to replace them due to how worn and stained they have gotten. I used my old pair for everything. They’ve been accidentally set on fire, dowsed in oil, even walking in ankle deep creeks and rivers, (And they still hold up their water proof abilities), and yet they are still one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I’ve ever worn. Even the laces have held up ever since I bought them, as I never once had to replace them. The price that these boots are sold for is extremely generous for how long these have lasted me. They are worth every penny, they even take on the likes of Timberland boots ... show more
