I bought the stainless version for durability and safety. This model was great! It is easy to use and clean. I've used it for both whipped cream and nitro coffee and it hasn't disappointed. There is no need for any special coffee nozzle. I found it easiest to make coffee separately and leave it in a pitcher to cool in the fridge. If you use granulated sugar ir sweetener you shoukd mix it outside the dispenser so it is thoroughly dissolved and won't clog the dispenser. I use nitrous cartridges for nitro bre coffee and it works absolutely fine. To make whipped cream, you must definitely mix all you ingredients outside the dispenser. It comes with recipes but you can certainly experiment your own recipes. Tips: Make sure ingredients are cold and make sure the dispenser is cool before filling. This will ensure good results. If the threads on anything seem tight, a little veg oil on threads can help. Handtight only on everything. No wrenches. For whipped cream use heavy cream. One nitrous cartidge per pint is sufficient for coffee or whipped cream. For nitro coffee, open the nozzle slowly. For whipped cream, you can open the nozzle a little wider. Keep the dispenser upside down when dispensing. After sitting in the fridge, shake the dispenser a few times before using to remix the gas with the product. You can freeze whipped cream as soon as you make it. Just discharge into a bowl or other container and cover. Makes a great frozen treat or can be used if allowed to thaw for a fewinutes. Stainless steel, heavy duty parts, extra gasket seel, and 3 different dispenser tips.... Well worth the purchase. This is well built and built to last. Worth comparing this one to others. I've had this for about a month or so now and have made several containers of whip cream. Like with any new tool or device it takes time to figure out just the mix on quantities that will suit to your liking. So a bit of trial and error when it comes to how much heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract and sweetener to use. Directions call for 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. Personally, I use about 1 3/4 cups along with 2 tsp vanilla and 2 tbs of sweetener. Careful on how much you shake the canister before dispensing. Too little and you will get liquid. Too many will be too thick and you'll end up with leftover in the container once you've used up all the gas. Initially around 10 shakes is about enough. Afterwards between long usuage about 3 downward shakes should do. Everytime you shake you will want to make sure the dispenser is upside down. Do this as if you were hammering a nail. Think of it like a ball point pen and you're trying to get the ink back down towards the tip. This will enable more of the whip cream to be dispensed instead of getting stuck inside the container and running out of air. Which is likely to be the most common problem with any of these dispensers, so keep that in mind. Also why I only use 1 3/4 cup to help reduce on leftover whipping cream. Chill the container either in the fridge for an hour before filling. Or chill in the freezer for about 10 minutes. But, as far as this being a good dispenser? It really is and in this case you get what you pay for. Stainless steel will outlast aluminum hands down. Definitely feels professional grade. Easy to assemble and clean. Again this is quality and heavy duty built parts. It's more money, but you won't be disappointed. On a side note, I did look at some dispensers half this size. Thinking I could reduce space being taken up in the fridge. Glad I went with this one instead. It doesn't take long to go through the amount this one holds. ... show more

The whip cream dispenser feels solid, stainless steel, and works great. Only used one of the tips so far on ice cream and carmel syrup and it tasted great. I used one teaspoon of sugar to sweeten, a little, the whip cream a tad and it dispensed well. I recommend this product. They recommend taking the tip off and cleaning after each use which is a good recommendation as it might sit in the frig a few days and harden a little. ... show more

Bought this for my daughter, who's a chef. They had one in her kitchen but it broke and I bought her this one for her own use at home and she's been using it at work too, so I guess it's working well and working a lot harder than would be the case in most homes. She's had it for a while and has commented on how well bullt and solid it was (I think they dropped it a few times and it still worked fine, so it's getting a real tough test. ... show more

These work exactly as advertised. I have used about 12 of them so far and they have been great. They impart no weird flavors and every one I have used has worked perfectly. I even sent some to a friend and he reports they have been great as well. I highly recommend these whipped cream chargers!!
