While I’ve always considered Dyson one of the best for suction power, this corded Eureka takes it to another level—easily delivering about three times the power. The features are impressive: it offers both floor and carpet modes, so be sure to select the correct one. I made the mistake of using carpet mode on my kitchen tile floor, which caused some loud noises. The adjustable filter design also makes it easy to clean under furniture like couches and beds. The accessories are a standout—they’re perfect for detailing my car and getting it spotless. Plus, the LED light on the floor nozzle is a game-changer, illuminating hidden dust in darker areas. This little vacuum cleaner is great! I gave it only 4 instead of 5 stars because of the way you have to use any attachment. You have to take the body off and place the attachment into a hole on the bottom, with or without also attaching the hose for extended reach. I find this to be inconvenient and less stable than being able to just add an attachment to an already connected hose. Plus, it is obviously a longer process. Now, back to the positive attributes. It is slightly smaller than many other vacuum cleaners, but that has actually worked to my benefit. I am able to get into, around, and through more areas than I was with prior vacuums. The dirt collection tank is a pretty good size; it’s not real large, but neither is it very small. And, it has a lot of power! It works well on carpets as well as hard floors. Oh! It also has a nice long power cord! Even though I have a strong dislike for the attachment process, this Eureka vacuum is still a good option. ... show more

What we like since we returned the Shark Pro due to poor suction, this Eureka was a great buy, powerful on carpets especially with pet hair and on hardwood floors. There were some concerns regarding how the vac will handle vacuuming up dirt on our tile floors, but the suction was great, the rollers definitely did an amazing job, not just scattering it all over the floor, the main issue with the Shark Pro. The slide up and down feature was useful, it felt gimmicky at first but proved quite useful. Detaching the main unit to use as a handheld is very easy and docking it back same, however, using it as a handheld in my humble opinion is not really practical, it's starts becoming quite heaver and cumbersome after a few minutes. If this is your main goal to use it as a handheld unit, then this might not be for you. ... show more
