I really liked these out of the package. It was easy to hang up and not very hard to unravel each spool of wire. It's good quality and I was quite impressed for $7. The remote works great too. My only issue is I wanted warm yellow light not white light and these are very much just plain white light. Once up though I don't really mind it. The media could not be loaded. I attached these behind my macrame curtains and it turned out more beautiful than I imagined. I had put them up for Christmas, but I think I will keep them up year around. I like the remote though. I’m still trying to figure out the timer. It has many different patterns for the lights. I don’t think the dimmer function makes much of a difference, but I’m happy with the brightness that it has. These are 10 strings of fairy lights on one cord The secret to installing was to get it all in position before starting to unroll each of the strands. And then I worked methodically one by one slowly untwisting and then unraveling the coil. It’s important to work slowly and carefully. Otherwise they can get tangled. I secured each strand to the curtain before moving to the next strand. Also since they’re coiled, I just stretched it out enough to reach the bottom of my curtains so I didn’t have to cut anything. Since they’re against the sliding door, they reflect against the glass behind making it seem like there’s twice as many strands. ... show more

It's easy to untangle and nice light modes. However, I am disappointed that the remote control doesn't work. Which means, I have to go out in the cold everytime I need to make changes. That's not cool.
