Carb works once you pull the servo off and replace it with the existing Honda one. For older EU2000i generators this is a much better option than spending $179 for a genuine Honda carb

The electrical connecter was the wrong style to plug in. Required removing the Throttle control from the top of the old Carb and fitting to the new one. Once that was done it worked fine.

Delivered promptly. Installed with on minor glitch. As others have noted the electrical connector is not compatible with the female side in the generator. Swapped the old controller for the one installed and it worked fine. The old carb was gummed up because the unit sat for a while after the previous owner passed on. After install I added new gas, put in a quick squirt of starter fluid and three pulls it fired up and continued to fun perfectly. I tested it with several loads and in ECO mode ant everything worked perfectly. ... show more

the carburetor seems to be ok but the add says it is for a honda eu 2000 generator and the carb would probably work but the electric plug is not compatible with Honda eu 2000 generator it is the wrong plug pattern and won't plug in

    • The Carb is perfect for the EU2000i, but the throttle cable does not match.

I got this kit to replace an OEM Carburetor on a Honda EU2000i, and this Carb fit perfectly, and the gaskets fit, Etc. The (Servo?) Motor on top of the Carburetor that comes in this kit, has a 4-wire connector on the end, and this after market connector does not fit the OEM socket on the inverter board. I was able to reuse the OEM throttle control on this new Carburetor, so at least the modularity was kept from the OEM design. This IS a great kit, with the Carb, air filter, fuel filters, and spark plug. I'd buy it again! ... show more
