I Have Verizon Fios In My Apartment. I Pay For Their Fastest Speed Which To This Date Is About 940/860 mbps. With Wifi I Only Get About 300-400Mbps. So I Got These CAT 8 Cables For My Devices That Wifi Isn’t Fast Enough For. Playstation, Xbox, Computer etc.. So As You See In The Picture Provided . I'm an avid gamer and streamer and I have a boatload of Cat7 wires but decided to upgrade to this Cat8. For context, I pay for a 1,000 mbps internet download speed and get 900+ mbps download with my Cat7 wires. WITH THESE.... I barely even get 200 mbps. I don't know if these just aren't truly a Cat8 but the speeds I get with it are even worse than my default Cat5 wires I get with my modem from Cox. Maybe I got a faulty wire, or maybe these really are fake. Regardless, not even a 3-star is deserved for such a HIGH TIER ethernet cable. ... show more

This actually delivers the speed I was looking for, the old cables I had capped at 95mbps after upgrading to this wire it's at it's max speed for my service at 300mbps and it can go even higher

    • Do you need longer then 1 day of use?
Exciting, cat8 cable they say, for cheap I see. I received what I paid for - garbage. Maybe its just a faulty cable, that happens often. Anyways i transfer about 3 TB to my home server. Decent speeds of over 200mb. That is the limit of the hard drives. So I try to copy a movie to a laptop and get as high as 11.4 MB/s. 2 days im scratching my head. Looking for server issues, maybe a port in the router, the server , maybe the laptop. Yes I skipped the simple switch out and try another cable. Finally I do change cables and well this cable was new, did great for 1 day then 20x slower speed then hard drive and network capabilities. Maybe I got a bad cable but I lost my money so I say no ... show more
