The Etcokel Microwave Flower Press works well. The flower color is generally preserved, sometimes a little darker than the fresh flower. I needed to learn how to set short bursts on the microwave ( 30-40 seconds at power level 3) and let the flower press cool down between bursts.

I found this flower press very easy to use. The 2 end pieces made of plastic are sturdy, and the wool felts and cotton blotters are of good quality. The only reason I didn't vote 5 stars on "Easy to use" was because the 2 elastic bands are not the easiest to get on and off multiple times as you check in between bursts in the microwave to see if the flowers are dried sufficiently. They will also lose their elasticity at some point. For now they do provide a snug hold around all the end pieces and blotters. Perhaps one could get a new pair from the manufacturer after they lose their elasticity. ... show more

This flower drying mechanism works wonders and keep the color pretty close to natural hue... I dow 1 minute on each side in the microwave, let it cool and wallah... love this piece.

The product works pretty well, and I’m happy with the results but the plastic plates warped after a few uses. Not sure if the malformation will affect the pressing process.

I have tried other flower drying methods. This one is the quickest and easiest there is. I have only used it on pansies, but looking forward to using it more.

It was easy to use so i recommend this product. You may have to adjust the timing of each microwave bursts depending on how many or how thick the flowers or leaves are.

Plates warped during 1st pressing. Has weird odor when using. Color preservation was only ok. A lot of guess and check to figure out appropriate microwave times.
