I know you're supposed to buy castor oil on a dark amber glass bottle but as far as plastic bottles go this product is great. I would repurchase if it was repackaged. Originally bought to get rid of the moles in the backyard (which it did) then my wife started using the rest of the bottle for her hair, then my daughters hair, she also noticed their nails started to grow faster and stronger just by being exposed when she did her hair, we tried in the car leather seats and it restored the original appearance, drink a little once a week and clean your stomach and feel detoxed, now we are using it also in the cat’s paws, I also noticed that if you mixed with water of about 2% -98% and wash the windshield if the cars it has the same effect of the expensive rain-x so I used it on the house windows to keep them clean longer and realized that keep the bugs away from the windows, use the same solution on your tv screen and phones and eliminate the fingerprint marks, make a little stronger (5%-95%) and rub your car tires and it does the same as armorall but looks not so shinny which it works for me, we are finding new ways to use it everyday so I see more to come in the update review. ... show more

This castor oil has a very strong smell. But I know some castor oil does indeed. I mix it with my coconut oil and they moisturize me wonderfully. The only issue I encountered was getting the pump to release when I was first opening the bottle. So the only reason I removed a star was due to the smell. So I love the bottle that the oil comes in. The pump makes it easier to apply to hair. The oil is a bit thick and you will need to use your hands to warm it a bit for easier application.

I'm newer into natural oils DIY ans such i found Essentially kates here and this is now my third purcahse from this them, different items, thrilled w all of them. The jojoba oil they say is closes to squalene helps build skin barrier up. It's a dry oil feels nice has "slip" and prepared to use in many things DIY skin and hair. I do gua sha on my face and my husband also gives massages 💆🏽♀️ ahhhh. I can't stand lotion they dry up on my feel gross. There is mild natural sweet nutty scent has good slip.
