Easy to use, performed as advertised, but it took a few extra Rinse to get rid of all of the product. I think that's because I used more than the label recommends. Next time I'll know, more isn't always better.

I tried this coffee pot cleaner, but I ended up having to use a whole bottle, instead of the amount it said. I have a small Bunn McCafe pot that was getting gunked up by the very hard water we have in Southern California. This pot only gets used a couple months of the year when we go visit in the winter. The pot was running slow, so I decided against using vinegar like I normally would and tried this descaler. I should have stuck with the vinegar, it's cheaper. I ended up having to use an entire bottle to get most of the scale off and even then, it wasn't quite back to normal. Pros: It's easy to use. Just pour it in the reservoir. Cons: It doesn't work well with Bunn pots. It takes quite a bit of flushing water through to rid the coffee pot of the chemical smell and taste. Save yourself the money and hassles. This descaler is great but it leaves a taste to my coffee even after flushing everything multiple times as instructed. I eventually had to run vinegar water through it to help.
