Overall, a 5 star chair- especially for the price. The chair is very simple to put together (bolt the rockers on and slide the pieces together). I was concerned with the sturdiness after seeing how quick and easy it was to assemble, BUT I was pleasantly surprised! I got this chair for my son’s nursery in hopes that my 4 year old could sit with baby and I to help combat her feeling left out once baby arrives. It will easily fit us, as my husband and I both sat together in it. It was a tighter squeeze for two adults but not uncomfortably if you like each other ;) and just for reference I am a curvy woman, size 14, and my husband is 6’ size 32. The color in the picture is quite accurate. It is a light grey and the fabric is much softer than I expected. Cushions are on the firmer side but I don’t mind them. I thought the wooden rockers were black, but they’re actually a dark espresso color - which worked better for me but good to know! I look forward to using it more after baby arrives! Overall it’s not a bad chair. It’s a little cheap feeling and not as hefty as I’d like but I’d say it’s very attractive and reasonably simple to put together. It will serve it’s purpose anyway but it’s not an heirloom piece. We had some issue with the back piece being seated correctly but after a few tries it went. I will say the smell of this chair is quite strong. I think the seller needs to make extra sure this chair is compliant, especially the legs. Being around it made my skin itch. The rocking action is not very good but you can rock a bit. An ottoman would go well with this. I am 5’7 and 320 pounds. This was enough for me to sit, it would definitely fit two average size people but it is a little shallow. Perfect for someone small and definitely for kids. It is lightweight so it will slide very easily. Edit: Day 3 and this chair is still really smelly. I’d suggest airing it out for two weeks before putting it into baby’s room. ... show more

I nurse my baby in this chair and we do family story time in it. I use a cross cradle hold, and the arm is at the right height to rest my elbow while I'm nursing the baby. The rocking is awkward and like others have said, it pushes back when you get up. My baby doesn't like to be held and rocked, so I don't mind it. All three of us can fit when we read him a story before bed. I'm 5'2" and 140lb (size 6), my husband is 5'11" and 195lb and usually wears a men's large- the baby is 5 months and sits on his lap. It's a cozy fit but comfortable enough. My husband says it wasn't hard to put together and there were no overly heavy components. He did it himself. Overall for the price, I think it's a really good buy, and I'll think we'll get years of use out of it because we'll probably use it for story time for a while. ... show more

    • AWFUL CHAIR AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
This chair is very uncomfortable for $300??! You have to keep constantly rocking it physically, it’s not like a traditional rocking chair where you push off your foot and it creates momentum to keep rocking. It’s very boxy not pillowy plush at the seat and arm rests feel hard, no cushion at all. I gave this a try after reading the positive reviews and once i got it, box was damaged on the side but luckily the chair was good. There was 2 missing washers for part of the assembly. Definitely not recommend for pregnant women. The seat is tooo low for a pregnant woman to sit on and a hassle to get up from it, this can be dangerous. Instead of leaning back, i’m leaning a tilting forward position which is awful for someone with back issues and even pregnant, i can’t relax at all! I contacted seller to receive paid postage by them. Will update if seller responds. May 11th 2023- Recieved a response from seller this is not intended for all kinds of people, basically pregnant women too. They won’t pay for the shipping back to where it came from and again asked what’s wrong with it. I restated the original email i sent, not sure if they comprehend what I am saying to them. They gave me a mere $20 towards my purchase which doesn’t solve anything. Still have not received a response from the seller. May 12th 2023- the seller increased his mere compensation towards my purchase to $25. DOES $25 DO ANYTHING???! I don’t think so. As the seller stated this is not for pregnant women sooooo if your pregnant this is not for you or your baby because it will tilt forward. False advertising because then this is not for everyone. Buyer beware. Still waiting for their solution. May 13th 2023- now the compensation is 50$ managers special...... uhhh NO. This chair is sooooo uncomfortable. As stated by Lexi the rep of the company she said "our rocking chairs are designed specifically for a specific group of people," Thanks Lexi for clarifying what kind of group people this is for because its clearly not for pregnant women to have a comfortable moment on what looked like a suitable chair. May 15th 2023- now the company and Lexi is blaming me for my misunderstanding. May 17th 2023- Lexi and Company still want me to pay for shipping, when I paid nothing for shipping itself. They keep offering $60 and I am still not accepting that offer. They need to update their description as by what Lexi stated "that's it snot for everyone." This is the worst transaction ever and worst company to buy from. I think homeless man who'll have a better couch than to have this couch I bought. May 23rd— Company and Lexi offered 75$ as a discount. This is an insult May 24th-- So called Lexi is has been generous to take 10 off from her/his salary--- pleeeeease as if you're doing me the favor, that's the value of this dumb hard as rock chair. Then it had the audacity to call me Sir as if I didn't explain to them that I am a pregnant woman expecting a comfortable chair and this chair from Lexi and its company is worthless. They have not met my demands at all and its already been a few weeks emailing back and forth and nothing is being solved. May 26th— Lexi has 2 chats going on and is also talking to another customer Jorge DelValle! offering the same discount of $85 and extended warranty. I don’t need that at all if the chair is trash itself. This conversation has been so awful and irritating. Definitely do not buy this chair at all. May 28th- Lexi and Company are still offering $85 which I did not accept. They need to do better for a cheap seat like this! June 3rd- This is the worst company to communicate with, this chair is not worth $300. Lexi barely started working there and says she does not hold much power. I’ve asked to speak with the manager twice and she’s refusing to let me communicate with them. Still giving me the offer of $85 offf which makes this chair still worthless June 6th- Still an awful chair! and awful customer service. Lexi and Company are trying to MANIPULATE me to take their 85$ discount and pretending like they actually care for the customer but they don't. The chair is Gargbage and not comfortable at all. This rocking chair is amazing. We just delivered twin girls and this will fit either my husband or myself and both girls. The chair was very easy to assemble once you know where everything is. The base has Velcro on the bottom that opens up. That is where you will find the rocking chair legs and instructions. The seat is too small for bigger people. It sits more forward so it's hard to rock. I do like that it's sturdy enough my kid can't rock it himself. Wish it was returnable or not as expensive. Feel like it's a waste of $300 because it's not a comfortable chair. Wouldn't buy unless it's for decoration and then at that price I wouldn't either. ... show more

Assembly was quick and easy. The chair does not seem the sturdiest, so sit easy. It is comfy enough, but the seat is not deep enough in my opinion. It doesn’t rock well on carpet. It is very cute and is big enough for my myself and my 2 youngest kids to sit in for bedtime book reading and has plenty of room for nursing the baby. ... show more
