    • The tool to help align your screen protector isn’t centered

On my old phone, I’ve used similar aligning tools that helped center the screen protector perfectly. However, this one doesn’t center it perfectly. It applies the screen protector way too high, so if you have tight tolerances (like with most protective cases), then the protector will push at at the edge of the screen protector and peel it away from your phone. Because of this, I had to take the screen protector off and realign it manually. This is fine and all, but I just wish they wouldn’t include the tool if it does more harm than good. If you done mind manually aligning and placing your screen protectors without a guide, then this set would work for you. But for me, I’d prefer to order a set with a guide that accurately centers the protector each time. The protectors overall are good quality though ... show more

    • Too many bubbles under edges

I’m good at installing screen protectors. I have them regularly installed on my iPad and iPad mini, usually using JTech protectors. Neither of them ever have any bubbles or flaws in the application. I could not get one of these to install without bubbles under the edge. There was no dust, no hair, it just wouldn’t stick in those spots. The first one was tolerable, just a few bubbles, so I lived with it, but then it cracked along the edge from a fall so I installed the second one, and it was horrible. I took that one off and installed the last one with the same issue. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or what, but these were impossible. Update: I did receive a courteous follow up from the vendor, and an offer for a complete refund, which I accepted and appreciate. Although the product wasn't for me, this was 5 star customer service. I’ve used screen protectors for years. I’ve never had so much trouble getting a dust free bubble free result. I used all three screen protectors each time following the instruction rigorously, working in a low dust environment with humidity, carefully cleaning, drying and using the sticky tape on the screen, but each time there were small remaining specs that caused bubbles across my screen in many different places. First time with this brand. It seems the Screen protector might be slightly larger than it should be if used with a case. The case I have seems to press on the edge and lifts it causing a bubble. It might be the alignment case provided that you use to install protector. It has a little play causing it not to be exactly square. My son had the same issue. UPDATE: I was really annoyed by the bubbles caused by the lifting of the edges. So I bought a different case, OtterBox Defender. The same problem followed with a different brand case. Definitely got a bad batch or the design does not work with a case. Without a case no bubbles. Very disappointed as in the past (3 other phones) I have always used a case with a separate screen protector and never had this issue. I had this brand for my 12 pro max. I love the fact that it’s full screen. My friend didn’t even know I had this screen protector on until I told him. The only problem is it’s not case friendly with all cases. My friend bought a liquid glitter case and I guess because the edges of the case were thicker, it lifted the sides of this screen protector. If you buy this, see how it fits with the case on before peeling the sticker and going through the whole process of putting it on then finding out it’s not compatible with your case. My case is slim so it’s perfect and don’t even touch the sides of my screen protector. So for me this is my favorite screen protector so far out of a few others I tried. After wiping the screen down, using the sticker before putting on the protector. It helps. It might grab dust that you don’t see. While a GREAT value and seemingly offering very nice quality and fit, this screen protector is already peeling at the upper left corner after a mere 2-3 weeks. The glass itself is precision cut and fits the screen + earpiece beautifully, and the installation is remarkably easy, as long as you get the alignment just right. But the fact that it’s already coming away from the phone’s glass screen surface after so short a time - and I am easy on my phone to the extreme - is not really acceptable. Would gladly pay a 20-30% premium to have the same fit + finish and more adhesion durability. *UPDATE* ESR reached out and offered to make it right, and I have updated to 5 stars due to the excellent customer support+outreach effort Thanks guys! ... show more

    • Tool a bit big but can reset glass

I am someone who needs the installation guide to put the glass exactly where I need it to go. This one is a bit big for that. You can pick the glass up once or twice (my experience) before it starts curving and doesn’t set. I, too, experienced the small bubbling issues and was able to successfully get out a few but not all. They included good quality wipes and dust stickers. The glass is smooth but not too thin. I think this glass would be good for those who have cases that overlap the sides a decent amount; I don’t think the case would push up the edges of the glass. Overall, if you’re good at eye-balling the placement and you live in a dust/pet-free environment (so you won’t need to reset after application), this is for you. It's the first time I purchase this brand and I am totally impressed with it, not only it was super easy to install but I love how it covers the whole screen, you can barely tell that there is a tempered glass on your iPhone and I love that. Also, the anti-fingerprint feature it's quite excellent, yes you still get to see the fingerprints but they are so easy to clean, just one swipe and they are gone, just like that you get a nice, bright, shiny and clean screen, there are no grease residues or marks left from your fingerprints, it's awesome!.
