This is a great frothing pitcher. It's nice and solid with a good handle, but you can clearly feel the temperature of the milk through the sides of the pitcher. I ordered a Motta Stainless Steel Professional Milk Pitcher that was over $40, but I find myself using this Empstorm pitcher instead. Save your money and order this instead! I love that it has measurement lines so that I can clearly tell how much milk I'm using, and it's the perfect size for an 8 oz cappuccino (fill it up to the 4 oz line), while I always end up making too much milk with the 17 oz Motta pitcher since there are no lines, and it's larger anyways. Honestly, I ordered this for the spoon/latte art utensil, but I don't find myself making latte art very often, and I was pleasantly surprised by how often I use the pitcher. ... show more

Its well made but be cautious about the description and make sure you know what 12 oz looks like because for some reason i thought it was twice as much. either way if this is what you need in terms of size this is a great choice it really is well made and comes with a tool to make designs. ... show more

I recently acquired an espresso machine. I had no idea when I ordered it that I’d soon be seeking all sorts of little extra tools to make the espresso brewing process more enjoyable LOL! Seeing as the machine came with milk frothing capabilities ….I of course felt that I needed a frothing pitcher! I suppose I could have used a coffee cup….but no, I wanted a frothing pitcher. I researched a bit and figured a beginner like me did not need an expressive frothing pitcher. This one is very reasonably priced and is a very nice quality. It came well packaged. The finish is shiny and bright. The inside is marked in both ml and ounces . Full capacity is 350ml or 12 oz , lowest is 100ml or 4oz. The marks are easy to see and read. The cup is easy to hold in one’s hand while frothing milk. It even came with a little tool so one can make pretty designs ( or attempt to!) when preparing espresso with foam. This is a very nice product especially for espresso making newbies! Would recommend ! ... show more

The advertisement shows a photo of a hand fully grabbing the handle with four fingers grabbing the handle, i can barely fit three fingers! It is easy to overlook the dimensions posted when most people rely advertisement. So the advertisement got me on this one. They did a good job photoshopping the hand on the pitcher. Other than the size, it holds about a cup and the graduation marking on the inside helps to provide volume. It is made of stainless steel that is polished. However, the polish on the bottom was not that great. Out of the box, the bottom is showing multiple scratches from the poshing process, the sides however show no scratched. Overall, it does work for what it is and is perfect for a beginner as it is a low entry (cost) product. It offers a good value and come with the pen/stick for stirring or creating designs. One star less for the size, misleading photo, and unfinished polish work on the base. ... show more

This is a little smaller than I was expecting, and doesn't hold quite as much milk. It's perfect for steaming one person's milk, but when I'm trying to make two lattes for my fiancé and I at a time, I wish it could hold a LITTLE more milk. He likes his with a lot of milk. It's perfect to fit under my countertop steaming wand. You can angle it just right, hold the bottom to know when it's done and I love it. I was using a ceramic cup before and it's was more difficult to know if it was "ready". Then I can just throw it in the dishwasher and good as new for the next day. ... show more
